Delicious food all around, expensive but pretty much all ski resort food is expensive. At least this food was seriously delicious so the hefty price tag felt worth it! ?

No real view from inside since it's so low to the ground. They should really add a 2nd floor. Nachos are amazing.

Only place on the mountain open so definitely a “destination” and the seating setup is great; feels like a well-organized saloon. But the food is worse than cafeteria; worst mountain resort food I’ve had (and I’ve hit >30 ski destinations this year). Reheated and (un)packaged products only. Grab a beer, then have lunch elsewhere.

This is literally my favorite lodge out of any ski resort that I've been to! There's always tons of open seating (even during lunch hour), and the food is SO GOOD!!! I highly recommend the taco salad, tacos, churros, and BBQ pork mac and cheese. I haven't had anything I didn't love. They let you customize all of your toppings and they load it on there! It's also located at the top of the mountain with great at views and easy access to just about any run. Can't say enough good things about Lookout!

Gorgeous views all around. In summer (2022) unfortunately not serving anything yet it is possible to use the restroom.

Buy the $30 walking lift ticket. Take the gondola and then the Christmas lift up without skis. Bring a backpack with some goodies. Grab a taco at the lodge and enjoy the view without skiing. Thank me later.
Best bald mountain view! Nice place to have a beer while skiing

Would be nice if they turned the heaters on over the outdoor tables since it isn't safe to be inside with covid. That and turn down the soft jazz that's playing every single day ?

In its own class, mountaintop ski lodges, this one is very good. To find a better one you most likely will have to ski in Europe - or visit the Seattle Ridge Lodge nearby - but the lope choices at the latter are limited. This is a mountain lodge, however, to be used to get warm and satisfy craving while skiing: there is no white linen, exciting food, fancy architecture, or servers. For all of this and much more, stop at the Roundhouse a quarter of the mountain below. The lodge is like Dr. Who's TARDIS, "much bigger on the inside". Bunker-like outside appearance offers plenty of seating inside in the off-season (pretty much anytime except between Christmas and New Year). If you enter through the main entrance, from the lifts, go to the back wall for some spectacular views (alas, this section might be full). The canteena-style food service is to the left of the main entrance. Low tables and seating are convenient if you are in your skiing gear. The food is Mexican-style, and nothing to write home about - as expected on the mountain. I prefer soups.
