This was an amazing experience. The nighttime gondola ride alone was fantastic. They give you a blanket while riding up and down the gondola, which is a great touch. The Waite staff is beyond friendly, and the food was fantastic. Our favorite was the smorgasbord board.

If you can get a lunch reservation just do it. . You do have to pay for gondola ride if not skiing but so worth it. Come for the views stay for the fondue. The Roundhouse is fantastic.

Incredible experience this afternoon at the Roundhouse. What a view of the mountain range!! Our waiter Terry was fantastic! We really enjoyed getting to know him and appreciated his fast knowledge of the menu and the surrounding area We dined on the delicious truffle fries, lamb burger, duck sandwich, and elk meatballs, along with the Romain salad and mother earth salad. Fabulous ending to an incredible week of skiing on Bald Mountain Can't wait to come back❤️

We showed up to the restaurant for lunch without reservations... it was crowded and the possibility of access to a table is almost none. Please make reservations in order to enjoy this great place. Now. I was extremely lucky that management extended a courtesy to use a we were accommodated to a great table with absolute panoramic view of Bald Mountain and surrounding areas. We were extremely pleased with all the attentions provided to us. The food was heavenly, served in a timely manner even when the restaurant was at full capacity. The servers were delightful and the manager is the best in hospitality business. Because we were going for a ski run afterwards, we tried to stay in a lite fare. However it is impossible because the menu is so attractive. Not overwhelming in number of plates offered but the options were all delightful. In a general sense... please make a reservation ahead of time and endulge your self with a unique experience. It is a must to visit.

What an amazing venue for a winter lunch! 3 of the 4 of us ski/snowboard, so it was a real treat to be able to have the 4th member of our group be able to join us on the mountain and see what we've been raving about. The Roundhouse is a classic ski chalet—it features a massive 4-sided natural fireplace and 360 views of the mountains. Cozy, rustic elegance. Felt like Europe. And the food was exquisite. Not your average ski hill fare, that's for sure! And yet it wasn't outrageously expensive. I definitely recommend this dining experience, especially if people in your group won't otherwise get on the mountain. I'm sure it's romantic at night, but you can't beat the views at lunchtime.

I hadn't eaten in the roundhouse in about thirty years. Major change from getting tuna salad and a baked potato from the cafeteria. We enjoyed fondue and a few other items. The renovation was done quite tastefully.

Great food service and views . Liked sitting at bar to eat for lunch but if you want a seat get there when they open at 11 otherwise can sit and eat in lounge chairs in bar area if you don't have a reservation

No warning whatsoever that this was a $119/person 4 course menu! After a couple of glasses of wine and taxes and tip the bill was quickly $350. Everything is otherwise amazing at the Roundhouse but we'd certainly rather choose what we want. Left with an unnecessarily overfilled belly and a very empty wallet.
