Amazing food, great service, but you should plan on waiting a little for your food. They have a respectable local wine list, but you'll spend a bit on apps a full meal and drinks for 2 people. 10/10

The atmosphere was amazing and so was the service. The sushi was the best I've had in the lcv, and the huckleberry margarita I had was bomb. Plus, my server was was wearing a sick smashing pumpkins Tshirt. Definitely going back!!!

In My Horrible Opinion

This is a small place so be prepared for a wait on the weekends. The menu has a good selection of sushi. The drink menu isn't the best & they didn't have any cider. My wife & step daughter ordered drinks off the menu & they ran out of the 2 different drinks they ordered. The sushi was good. There were 3 of us & we ordered 4 rolls & there were 3 pieces left. I ordered the diabla with 5 heat on a 1-5 scale. "Are you sure? It's Carolina reaper?" they asked. Yes. It was spicy but not GET ME SOME MILK NOW hot. I don't know if they have paper menus, we used the qr code. 4 rolls, no drinks, $70.Will we return? Yes.

It helps that my wife is a friend of the owner, but that said I had an especially good time connecting with her and the staff on our last visit. She is one of the few I have come across that really is interested in trying new stuff and being inventive. Hands down my favorite sushi in the area and definitely top 5 in all the places I have ever had sushi including Seattle.

Amazing addition to downtown! The sushi is like artwork and the flavors are inventive and delicious. Great experience, great flavors, I can’t say enough.

I tried to order a simple roll of salmon, cucumber, avocado, and jalapeño. The owner told me they don't customize. Instead, everything is made of random crap to look fancy. I ordered garlic edamame for an appetizer. Had to ask twice to get the edamame. When I tried it. It barely tasted like garlic. But it was so overpowered by the sesame seed oil. It was disgusting. For hillbillies, this might seem like sushi. But it's more like a funnel cake at the fair. It's topped with so much crap. You wouldn't even know there was cake under it. I would highly recommend the sushi at a gas station over this hole.

Great atmosphere and amazing sushi. The staff were all very friendly and the service was quick. This is in a historic building with a few other places, definitely recommend.

Service was nonexistent. Server was not welcoming and did not have enough tables to justify the ridiculous amount of time between visits to the table. Food was fine but would only recommend getting it to go to cut down on ridiculous wait to get the order taken, to receive the bill, and to get final receipt. Overall food was not good enough to justify the service.

Stood by the “wait to be seated” sign and stood there as the staff walked past us four times without even acknowledging our presence. You’re never too busy for a smile and a greeting. We left…

Not really sure how to describe this place...imagine a sushi restaurant that in no way feels like a place you would want to order sushi from! The decor, the music, the layout, just nothing about the place seems right. As far as the food goes, I had several issues. First off, the miso soup came only halfway filled. Miso is by no means expensive, so no clue what happened there. Then, the main dish was a train wreck. The rice was very hard, the yellowtail slices were paper-thin, and they changed out the shrimp for amberjack without even the courtesy of telling me. When I asked about it, they told me the menu changed daily based off what they had (what's the point of a menu then?) and that it was an "upgrade," as if that was the end of it. Well, I love shrimp and I DO NOT like amberjack so not exactly an upgrade for me! The rest of the food wasn't bad, but it wasn't a satisfying experience by any means.I really don't know why someone would go here, maybe it was just a bad night for them but I can't imagine there aren't better options for sushi here.

Very good sushi for inland. I definitely recommend for those that love sushi and seafood as well as those who don't as they have vegetarian and non fish options. Wait times are a bit and can range from 20 mins to over an hour when busy. You won't find better sushi within 100 milesVegetarian options: Several options on the menu
