This is a cute hidden diner that my daughter loved!!! She had a Grease-themed party for her 8th bday so definitely appreciated the fun decor. Food was great! Service was friendly and very welcoming. Will go back next time we're in town. Oh and LOVED that they served breakfast ALL DAY!!

I used to love going to the Wayback Cafe! We stopped going about a year ago due to poor service and poor quality food. Someone told us they’ve really improved recently and to give them another try, so we did- and it was a terrible experience. To start, it took awhile for the waitresses to even notice we were there (there was only a few other tables), then she couldn’t figure out how to put our order into the tablet- it literally took 10 minutes to put an order for 3 people in her tablet.The service was terrible, not only was I given a child’s size glass- no refills were given the entire time we were there. Sauces were not brought out with our order (that was requested) and took 5+ minutes to get after asking for them, again. After getting the sauces, we didn’t see our waitress again. The food was ok- wasn’t great, wasn’t bad.We were given 2 napkins, for 3 people (1 was a toddler). After finishing our meal we sat there for 20 minutes, waiting for our bill or even for our waitress to acknowledge us. I even left while my husband waited for the bill, to go clean my toddler up in our truck since the waitresses couldn’t be bothered for a napkin. I came back in, and they still hadn’t even ran our card to pay. I finally went up and asked if they wanted paid, and they acted like I was completely inconveniencing them. Again, there was very few people in there.Oh, and if you have houseplants- definitely stay away from this place. They have a HUGE tree in the bathroom that towers over the toilet and it is infested with spider mites, and I’m pretty sure I seen some mealy bugs too, and it’s impossible not to brush up against it when you use the restroom. I love plants, I love when businesses have plants- but jeez- take care of them or don’t have them- spider mites and mealy’s can travel on people’s clothes back to their house, it’s nasty and inconsiderate.Again, I used to love this place but I’ve given it way to many chances and todays experience was terrible! Get some better waitresses!

Old 60's diner was way cool inside and especially you like ElvisKid-friendliness: Lots of things on the walls so it is way cool that diners like this still exists and kid part who doesn't love dessert
