My daughter and her friends were on a weekend trip to McCall for the end of their Spring Break. They were so very excited to have a nice night for a dinner out and decided the Sushi Bar was supposed to be the top of the line and the place they wanted to splurge. Complaint 1: they were seated AT THE BAR! Not a single one of them is 21. They reported the staff was taking shots the whole time! Complaint 2: Every single one of these girls got food poisoning and spent the last evening of their spring break vomiting all night. DO BETTER SUSHI BAR!
If I could give zero stars, I would! We were sat 45 minutes late for our res and when we said we had a diabetic with us they just gave us a menu so we could order when we sat. Some juice or protein would have been easy to get. We were charged an extra $200 after leaving the restaurant and were harassed with phone calls and texts until 11 pm by the manager. When we came into show our itemized receipt, the manager told us we ‘must've forgotten‘ the extra $200 dollars we spent (like that’s normal?) and that we could email the owner but he wouldn’t do anything. Not only is this fraud but the manger was a misogynist who needs to be out of the service industry with all the inappropriate actions he took! After the owner said he would make it right, we went in and the same manager told us ‘it’s crazy we are back and he didn’t want us there and to have a nice life’. So unprofessional and rude.
