My first breakfast here was so good I had to come back two days later! Other than the grumbly old guys that are always sitting at the first couple tables, this place is great. The food is spot on! My bacon and eggs were cooked perfectly. My coffee cup never got under 1/2 full. This is your Meridian breakfast spot! Best service in town!

I decided to try this place yesterday morning. Great experience and good food! This is a solid place for a good breakfast. The bacon wasn't all fatty like so many places, nor was it too crispy. The moment I walked in I was seated and got my cup of coffee, the staff is on top of things even though they seemed a bit busy. The food was about what you'd expect at a good restaurant that serves breakfast, my food all came as I ordered it and I had no problems whatsoever. My only critique is that my hash browns were a little more soggy than I prefer but that might just be preference. Maybe I'll become more of a regular customer because the price of my order was fair. Only reason I give 4 stars and not 5 is because of the too soft hash browns and also because I was not served with jelly to go with my toast other than those tiny disposable single use packets of Smuckers Jam. I would really recommend to this place to investing in some more variety and/or quality of jam. The food was good, this place was a great experience and my server Charity was great too, I look forward to coming back! I hope this place keeps it up, I'm hoping to bring my family if this place continues to serve good food with the excellent service I experienced on my first visit.

Hi Ed!Never been to Idaho but I assure you should I make it that far west I will certainly be dropping in. LOVE A GOOD CAFE. I hope you get this soon, I need info on a place called "Iceberg-Diner/cafe/restaurant located in Meridian, Id. I Googled it and Google lead me to you. Is your cafe new at that address? It's very important, so if you could please get back to me with ANY information you my know on an establishment ANYWHERE in Idaho with the "Iceberg" name. It would be of the utmost help.Thank you for your time. And a very Merry Christmas to you.

Great breakfast place. Menu is small but they have all the classics. They staff was super friendly and helpful. We left full and happy, just what we wanted.

Lived here in Meridian for 15 years now and we never went here. Me and my bestfriend went this morning and the people were great. The environment and decor was welcoming and there was plenty of seating. The food was mediocre…. Got a 2 egg with sausage, hash browns and toast, eggs were kinda under cooked and the hash browns were more under cooked than what I am use to, sausage wasn’t very appetizing and the toast was cooked perfect but it was drier than what I like. I would come back for a cup of coffee and they had lunch and dinner to offer but I wouldn’t have their breakfast again.

Great little 50s diner. Friendly people awesome food. Best malt I've had in years. Hamburgers are juicy and filling. My grandson love the Cafe too.

Ed's was an absolute joy to dine at. The decor was nice, the food even nicer, but nicest of all was the wait staff. Didn't catch her name but the waitress was perhaps the best I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. I'll definitely be back.

We had our first meal here today. Went for lunch. Burgers, Hawaiian chicken sandwich, fries, tater tots were really good and generous. Side salad was not very fresh with lots of brown spots so I did not eat it. Looked liked bagged salad.Service was so pleasant and thorough. They are understaffed like much of the world, but we knew that going in so we were patient. It is a cute diner and we will try breakfast next week. The price was a bit lower than most other places. Mobility wise, the inside and patio are easily accessible with a mobility scooter. There are tables that are roomy. The handicap ramp from the parking is way on the side of the building with only one spot. That was rather disappointing. Not very welcoming for people with mobility issues. If I were alone, I would have had to drive through the middle of the parking lot to get to it as there was a truck in the only spot. Overall, we enjoyed our lunch! Love all the antique car photos on the wall. ❤️

Feels like a real Idaho cafe. Very good omelets, excellent gravy and a down home comfortable atmosphere. I will be back.

Great locally owned/run diner. Fun 50's decor and good food and friendly service. Loved the chicken walnut salad.

Food was good, but the only 50's experience I got was the pictures. The furniture itself was not 50's looking, at least not the same as the other 50's diner's I have visited.
