Really good. My son and I got a bunch of rolls. Wife and daughter got chicken katsu and udon. Iced tea was day old but I won't knock them for it. Fish was good. Food looked great. Pretty dark in there. Clean restrooms. Good service.

Came to Fujiama (Meridian location) for lunch today to celebrate my daughter's new job. They have remodeled this building beautifully. It's very pretty on the inside. Boy, the food and portions didn't disappoint. I ordered a bowl of miso, side salad and some sushi. The side salad was a good size portion! The miso was nice and hot with good amounts of nori and tofu! The Cali roll is pretty basic and you can't really mess that up. I did notice some nice acidity to the rice. The inari was great with a good amount of rice in it, it wasn't jammed packed with the sushi rice which was great! The Tamago was a little dry and wasn't the best but that's OK. The staff we friendly and was on top of everything. Great local gem in Meridian for sushi.

Hands down one of the worst sushi places I've ever eaten at. Ate 1 piece of my roll and we left. Fish not fresh, the tuna was almost puréed, and there was what looked to be a fish eyeball in the puréed tuna. Will never go back to this place. There was a weird smell inside as well. Service was slow and there was only 2 other tables. You're better off trying anywhere else.

The sushi and sushimi is consistently fresh and beautifully presented. Service is attentive and friendly. Tables and booths could use a good scrub. Also, the sugar packets were soaked and unusable. The staff may want to add a step to check the condiment area during clean-up. I have been to both the Boise and Meridian locations and enjoy both!

We ordered dinner to go at Fujiyama last night, nice quiet restaurant everyone was super nice and friendly. I ordered the chicken fried rice needed a little spice but it was pretty decent. I have never ordered fried rice that has chicken cube which I would prefer every time I side of dry piece of chicken other restaurants service. My BF ordered Beef yaki udon he said it was flavorful, he nearly devoured it so I would imagine it was pretty delicious!!!
Menu is huge and diverse. Something for everyone, even those who might not be keen on raw fish. Restaurant very busy when we went (it was Valentines Day) but service was still good and attentive. We will be back!

I love the food from this place and me and my family always come here when craving sushi, BUT last Saturday I was extremely disappointed and will never ever come back, I'm sorry but not again.I brought my friends visiting from out of town to have some sushi, food as always was delicious and since it was Saturday night they were a little busy so our server was in a hurry taking our orders but we completely understood she was in a rush, her service was OK but not excellent, I did catch her rolling her eyes when one of our friends asked her for Sriracha sauce after I asked her for more dressing for my food. Anyways, by the time she brought out checks she said that 20% gratuity was included on parties over 8 people, and to be honest she didn't deserve the 20% I understood because the manager said it was specified in the menu, we were a table of 6 adults and 2 babies.Well, when I got the check I noticed that at the bottom it said RECOMMENDED TIP and it had 3 options, 18%, 20% and 22% (I believe), and she circled the 20%. But I was in the middle of a conversation so I just gave my card to her and she got back with the manager and the iPad to pay, once I TAP my card I noticed tip was not included and it was asking me to enter my tip, she immediately took away the iPad from me and entered 20% and pressed enter and then gave it back to me to just sign. One couple that was with us wanted to pay their own bill and their bill was around $85.00 they gave her $100.00 and told her to keep the change but then she came back again with the manager to get the other 5 dollars and some change because she told them they needed to tip 20% .They acted very greedy and me and my family will never come back again.

Went with 3 other people. We were greeted warmly when we went in and promptly seated. Food came quickly. All of the dishes were beautiful. Only 2 of us finished our lunches. I ordered the snowball, which was beautiful but tasted like avocado wrapped cat food. ( Don't ask me how I know that...) I couldn't get past the first third of it. Two of us ordered sushi rolls and were happy with them. One ordered a box lunch and could only eat the soup and the shrimp before they were full. I tried a piece of their sushi roll, and one of the others, and for some reason the snowball had wiped out my taste buds and hunger both. It was either that or the Fox News one one TV or the cooking channel on the other. One whetted my appetite and the other soured it. I'll likely try them again someday, but not soon.
