Very disappointed. Long time customer, we usually order delivery 2-3 times a month. Over the last few months we have seen a drastic decline in the quality of the food and delivery times around an hour and a half to two hours. Looking for a new Chinese Restaurant in the West End / Meridian area.

For 8 years Great Wall was the only place I'd order Chinese food. However, Their lack of customer service and unwillingness to own up to and correct a small mistake will prevent me from ever ordering or suggesting Great Wall again. They do not appreciate your business. Due yourself a favor and go somewhere else that appreciates you choosing to spend your money with them.

This used to be my favorite chinese restaurant in the Meridian area. I say, "used to be" because of a recent service issue. I placed an order today for over $50 worth of food at their Eagle store location. I am usually happy with their tasty food, fast service and reasonable prices and I must say I am sad to write this of such a good place to eat but here is what happened. I placed 4 entree orders; each order receives a box of rice with the entree. I waited only 22 minutes to receive the order at my doorstep where I accepted it and gave the driver a tip. Upon looking over my order I noticed that 3 of the rice orders were missing. I went back to the website where I placed the order and verified that I had ordered 4 rices for my 4 entrees. Yes, I had, so I searched for their phone number and upon finding it, gave the company a call. I was greeted by a young lady who I explained the problem to. She asked me what I wanted to do about the problem. I suggested that they run the 3 boxes of rice over to my home (I live 2.93 miles away according to their site). I mentioned that I had paid a $3 delivery charge plus a $3 tip and on top of that had provided the driver with another tip. I also mentioned how often I order and what I normally pay (once per month, $50-$75 each order). She told me she had to check with her boss and put me on hold. After a long 6 minutes of dead air, she picked up the phone apologizing for the long wait and told me her boss told her that he had placed all the rice orders in the box my order was contained in. So, I guess I am calling up to a good restaurant to complain about something that isn't true...? Hmmm. I hung up from there and decided to write this review. Long story short, good food, good value but terrible customer service. I will not be returning.

I have been ordering from this place for years and tonight may have been the last time. I had an order for delivery through Doordash and did not receive any of the sauces for my order. I don't mind but my kids won't eat the Mandarin chicken without the sauce. So I called the restaurant and asked if they would be willing to send some since it was their mistake and I was told no, they can't help me. So I offered to load up my kids and come pick it up and they still said no. I was told that they can't help me and to contact doordash. So they basically wouldnt give me any of the sauce I paid for. I understood not being able to deliver the sauce if they are busy but not willing to let me come pick some up was ridiculous. Very disappointing. ?

My favorite Chinese in the valley!Been coming here for 10 years and have tried lots and lots of other Chinese and this wins everytime. Consistently good. Staff is good. But food is supreme ?

Thus is where we usually get our Chinese food delivered from, and it's been pretty solid the last 3 times. Love the fried rice and most of the chow mein dishes. The family style dinners are big enough to feed some people. The generals chicken was good. The chow mein with pan fried noodles was my favorite dish so far.One thing that lowered the rating a little is Mongolian Beef is my favorite dish. Almost all places there is just hot peppers chopped very thin ,onions and spicy beef. These cooks put in water chestnut s and big chunks of regular green pepper and even baby corn in it. Too many veggies and not enough beef.
We got take out tonight - fabulous, thank you! The food was delicious, hot, ready on time, packaged carefully with all needed condiments and utensils and all for a reasonable price. The staff person who helped us was efficient and friendly. Unlike some places, this meal was not overly salty. We will definitely be back!
