Everything I’ve tried here has been delicious. Hope they get back to it soon. I feel like they’re a great example of southern Idaho drive in culture. Long live the Hungry Onion!

Burgers are amazing and if you have ever wished for it to look like the photos places show you will say wow. Tots and fry’s could use a little extra fry but this has set a new standard for a meal.

We made an accidental stop at this restaurant while taking our son to his acting class. And we were amazed how good the food was plus how great the service was. We're definitely going to be going back there!

Great drive in! Went later at night and it was still really busy. Even though they were short staffed the food came out hot and fresh. Highly recommend

Pretty low tier burger. Meat was dry and had little flavor. Fries were good and the staff was polite. May return to try a different menu item but will never order another burger from here.

I loved this Drive Inn when I was younger and thought it would be fun to take my Daughter. The service was good, the food sadly, very Disappointing. They have changed their Finger Steaks and our Scotch N Sodas tasted watered down.

No one was wearing masks and they were out of tator tots, onion rings, and dip for ice cream. Settled on fries and grilled cheese and both were WAY under done and the root beer tasted off. Won't be going back. ?‍♀️

I had the Big Hungry burger and it was very good. It was juicy, perfectly cooked and had a bun that didn't fall apart. I would get this burger again. That being said, the tator tots were disappointing. They were a little oily and had no crunch or flavor. I wouldn't get them again.

Great food! Couldn't believe the quality that was provided. So many options on the menu, I can't wait until the next time. Highly recommend!

The food here was amazing! Gave 4 stars, because the service was ok, and when I asked if anything came with fries and was told no, ordered fries, and come to find out it did. So we had almost double the fries which caused us to overpay by a lot and wasted food. The girls didn't seem to know what they were doing and customers were being skipped and ignored while they stood inside.

I don't know where they find employees, but they're all great! They're always just so nice and very polite. Tip them well!

Just a classic. Been going here for decades. I think our trips here are more nostalgic for us. My guys LOVE the burgers! The Big Hungry burger us to die for.I've never really loved a dish from here but I am not a huge burger fan.We love supporting the locals, and this is as local as you get. Thanks Hungry Onion for rocking it for years!

This was my first time at the Hungry Onion. Very cute and nostalgic makes you think what it might have looked like in its prime. You drive in one of the car ports and they come out to you and take your order so cool. The burger is a little plain just by itself but add there fry sauce and ketchup and its yummy. Also had there fries and tots delicious. Will be back soon to try more items on the menu. ??.

The employee was very nice and the food came fast. The employee did hear me wrong for what I wanted for a shake, but promptly and politely fixed the issue and got me the right one out right away. As far as the food, it really isn't that great. For that reason, I likely won't be back. The fries tasted old and soggy. Burgers were very obviously frozen or old - they didn't taste good at all. I did not even get halfway through the fries or the burger, before I had had enough and threw the rest away. The only edible thing I received was the milkshake, but it was hard to enjoy as it wasn't blended properly, resulting in huge chunks of reeses. I could not drink it at all with the straw that was provided. Using my own milkshake straw that was bigger, I was able to get a couple sips in before it would just clog the straw again. The only way that I could drink it, was by removing the lid and drinking it that way. This was was frustrating because the shake was in a block at that point, so the whole shake would slide forward and press in to my face. Overall, these guys probably need to train more, or just shut down again and keep it that way.

Hungry onion has always been a favorite of our family. Had the best hamburgers and a chicken sandwich. Tater tots, fries, and chocolate cokes. As always, it was great. And the lady, that waited on us was amazing. My husband and Son are great jokesters and she even delt with them admirably.
