Food was decent but the service was terrible. They got my order wrong and charged me for another person's order. Instead of admitting their mistake they insisted it was my fault. Eventually they realized it was their fault and my actual order but they didn't apologize or even offer any sort of discount for their mistake.

Sorry, but worst Chinese I’ve ever had. Was scared to eat 90% of my meal in fear of getting sick and threw it away. I came in late and there wasn’t a single person in the restaurant, that should’ve been my first clue.
I was really surprised at how bad the food was, my wife and have ate here a handful of times and it's pretty decent but the food we got yesterday was terrible. the beef and broccoli was very dry and tasteless. the broccoli was so mushy you could flatten it with a fork. the pot stickers are not pot stickers, I'm sorry but they were horrible, even the fried rice was mushy and spare ribs didn't even look like or fast like spare ribs. I called joy garden and explained everything to them and of course dealing with most Asian restaurants you get the same response. they say the food is good the cook is the same and basically you're nuts for saying the food taste like crap. so the fact they wouldn't do anything about the crappy food leads us to never eat there again. even if they didn't do any refund but at the very least acknowledge one of their patrons telling them the food that's usually pretty good was not this time I would probably try it again. but hey what can you do, one less restaurant to add to the list of options

Really good food and I didn’t have to mess with any apps or 3rd party delivery services. I just called them up, gave my order and 30 minutes later it came really hot and fresh. I like that old-school type of thing. Steak and broccoli and pan noodles with nice crispy veggies. Love it and highly recommend. I’ll be a regular from now on!

I have been eating with my daughter and residents of Park Place AL at Joy Garden. The food is the best! The service is always good! We all look forward to eating there every few weeks! Prices are very reasonable!

Best Chinese food around. We order a lot, often. Always consistently great. We do lemon chicken, sweet & sour pork, egg rolls, fried shrimp, and fried rice. Usually enough food for 3 meals. Always gotten delivery or take out, not sure about dine in.
We have ate here plenty of times for delivery and it’s always seems really good but the other day I ordered it right at the opening of day for my lunch at work and we have ate here plenty of times for delivery and it’s always seems really good but the other day I ordered it right at the opening of day for my lunch at work and the chicken chicken seemed like it had been reheated dry and nasty overcooked and the rice seemed reheated as well very dry. The only thing that was good was the crab Pops was pretty disappointed.

Great price for the amount of food you get, and it was made quickly. Service was friendly and people dining in seemed to enjoy the atmosphere, small but cute restaurant. We had the chicken chow mein, broccoli beef, mandarin chicken and pork and seeds, all tasted wonderful and enough left over. Returning customer here.

Just such yummy chinese food! Special chow main and mandarin chicken are my favs! Egg rolls are huge! It can be busy during peak dinner times so try to be patient. One of the best Chinese restaurants in boise :)
