The times have changed. Pies are still good but comes at a price. Will have to savor the key lime and Kahlua pies from memory.

I ordered a lemon meringue pie for us to pick up. My husband went inside to get it. The young man put the pie with beautiful high meringue in a box and instead of leaving the lid open he pushed it down and squished the meringue. When we opened the box half of the meringue was stuck to the lid leaving a hole in the top of the pie. I called and told the lady who answered what happened. She said maybe the baker should make flatter meringue. Unbelievable! I said no! Leave the lid open and don’t ruin the beautiful meringue.

Soup wasn't seasoned, meringue wasn't set, ran right off the pie.

Let me tell you about this cute little "cafe." This is not the regular full size, or full menu Marie Callender's you are accustomed too. It is clean, offers many of the favorite food items.Grab a menu from the counter on your way in. Select your seat for dine-in or walk up to the register for take-out. All orders are taken at the register, they give you a number for dine-in.Grace was working at the register when we came in. She greeted us upon arrival. Such a pretty and genuine smile. You can tell she enjoys being there. My wife ordered the Albacore Tuna Melt with fries and a cup of Potato Cheese soup. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Club with fries and a cup of Chicken Tortilla soup.Grace brought some warm cornbread and honey butter to our table. All the food came out hot and was delicious. My wife and I really enjoyed our dinner and will be back. As I'm typing this, my wife just told me, "I would definitely go back to Marie Callender's."Parking: There is limited space, but we had no trouble finding a spot.

I purchased a frozen Mac and cheese meal. Followed the directions for the oven which included opening a corner to allow for venting. After 15 minutes I could smell burning plastic. The top which I peeled back a corner of as directed had completed melting all over the food which made it inedible.

I would not buy a pie from this establishment unless you are eating it there. I have patiently waited to buy a pie since I found out they were opening and I finally was able to stop by today February 10th around 2 pm and what I got was a salt pie instead of a banana cream pie. At first I thought maybe it was the crust but it was definitely the filling. Their pies are a bit expensive for these types of errors. As I read other reviews I'm hoping they don't make a fuss about not calling them the day of even tho I didn't try the pie until 9pm the same day and they aren't open tomorrow which is Sunday but I will gladly save pie to take it to them Monday.

I am a Marie Callendars Lover. We finally got around to dining at this location tonight and upon pulling up i was immediately disappointed. This is a Marie Callendars CAFE. Basically a Panera Bread. This is not the cozy restaurant i grew up knowing. The menu is Small and the food was boring and disappointing. That’s really all i can say besides the staff being nice.

We dined in at the restaurant had the meatloaf dinner , mashed potatoes and vegetables. Have dined at Marie Callender’s for many years and I’m happy this small restaurant opened up in my area. The food needs more flavor (spices) and the food needs to be hot and the plate should be hot also, when it was served the food was warm plate was cold. The service was exceptional and our server checked on us often the atmosphere was clean and inviting. Cook the food in-house serve it hot is the recipe for success!

Food underwhelming. Atmosphere is a fast food place. Vegetable soup over spiced and chili tasted like Nally's canned chili. Corn bread was really good though. Guess we went in on our first time visit with expectations of the original restaurant on Fairview.

Haven't tried the food yet as it was takeout but the service from the young girl was terrible. She was busy chatting with every employee who walked by she wouldn't bag and finish the order. When I finally asked her to socialize after she finished my order she dumped everything in the bag slice o GV pie upside down. I know it's hard to get help in this market so ill try it one more time hope it's better.
