We were excited to get some great tacos, but we got food poisoning instead. I wanted to love this place too! I was so excited to try a place that offered gluten free options. My husband has ate here several times and told me how great it was. So we packed up our family of 7 for family night and went out for tacos. Instead of a fun family night with delicious food, we got sick within 30 mins of eating. We got the food to go and ate outside. My husband had to run out into the little alley behind the place and got sick. We spent the next 48 hours sick to out stomach and in the bathroom constantly. 5 of us that actually ate the queso were the ones that got the most sick. The other 2 only had mildly upset stomachs - they had only had a couple bites of the queso. So we are assuming we got bad queso. It was towards the end of their day, so maybe it wasn't fresh? Idk. What I do know is that we were fine all day until we ate there. It gets worse. The next day I stopped by my husband's work and his coworker said he was going to run over there and get some tacos and queso. We warned him not to. He did it anyway. Within 30 mins he was in their bathroom and was throwing up and "using" the toilet pretty violently. I don't think this is a coincidence. We won't be returning. Basically, if you want to shatter porcelain or aggressively "detox" your digestive system- then eat here!

I love the tacos here! We try to go here at least once a week! I love the honey chipotle and peaches and bacon. Can't wait to try more flavors.

Tacos were very good but way to much money for the dinky size. And for the high price is the only reason I will not go back!!!

No Bull...Just TACOS! There slogan says it all. I have had Taco Cow on my to do list for a while now and finally stopped in. The restaurant is easy to find and locate right on Overland Road. Inside you will find a ton of funky stuff all relating to bulls, tacos, and plenty of puns. Seating inside is limited to a couple of tables and window side stools. The owners offer a good selection of online/delivery options which was great to use given Covid-19. Speaking of selection....how about 35 taco options!! Yip...35. They have something for almost everyone. For me, I went with 4 tacos today....which leaves me with 31 to go... I ordered the Fish Frito, Carne Asada, Kurobuta Carnitas, and KC Chief. All the tacos were served with fresh in store made tortillas which is a game changer. The restaurant also provides tasty green and red sauce....grab both! The Carnitas was my least favorite of the four. The pork was a bit flat on flavor imo. The Carne Asada was tasty along with the guac and cheese along side it. My second favorite of the options was the fish taco. Don't let my horrible photo deter you. The very crispy coating provided a great crunch and the fish inside was not dry. The cabbage added additional crunch and flavor. Great taco.....ohh...it's huge too!!! Largest portion of the 4 by far. Last but not least, the Super Bowl Champs, KC Chief! The flavor of the meat was great! The BBQ sauce added a great twist to the taco. I highly recommend the KC! If you are looking for some unique tacos with tasty ingredients, you will not go wrong with Taco Cow. Cheers Always!

Meh. I don't like to echo a lot of other reviews, but the tacos were not even warm. And we were dining in. My carne asada tortilla was actually cold to the touch! Why wrap them in foil? It doesn't seem to be keeping in the heat. I ordered the carne asada and the shrimp taco. I bit down on something crunchy while eating the shrimp taco, and the tails were on the shrimp. So that's good to know. I'm taking the carne asada taco home to heat it up.

Quite possibly the worst street tacos in Idaho. The food was cold, there was no flavor, and the sauce is not good. Also, their carnitas are too sweet. Nothing about this place is authentic or good. They need to reexamime their recipes, go to any other street taco vendor and try their food.

Food is really good, but their on-line ordering is all messed up...2-3 times in a row, "never got order" and had to wait anyway!!!

Ordered tacos delivered from Taco Cow. None were labeled all were over salty, greasy, fatty & really unappealing. Plus it took over 80 minutes to get our food & we were missing food, though it was difficult to tell what tacos for certain. We won't order again.

This review is based solely on the food. I called and asked if they were open for dine in! Was told they were. Arranged to meet friends for dinner! And was shocked to see carry out only! Dont know who to be mad at really covid, or the dumbass answering the phone.

Great breakfast tacos. You may have to wait a bit after placing your order because everything is made fresh. It is so much better than any fast food taco restaurant. Prices are reasonable as well. Highly recommend!

I was excited to have a taco place so near my work, checker it out on my lunch break. I ordered 3 items which took about 15-20 minutes to get filled. I figured no problem quality food takes time. Mind you this was 2 tacos and a roll up quesadilla which is basically a taco with no veggies. Tried 3 different kinds of meat. It was all bad. Greasy, flavorless, messy, cold the meat in 2 of my tacos was just gristle and unedibile. The salsa had no flavor. Basically save your money and go to Taco Bell. You will get the same level of authenticity with better flavors. 1 star only because the cashier was nice. 2 of the other workers weren't even wearing their masks as they were walking all over the restaurant.

These tacos were sooo delicious! They are larger tacos then I thought they would be and filled with a great amount of meet and flavor. My personal favorite is the shrimp taco

My husband had the taco shrimp, carnitas and kurobuta tacos, I had carnitas & cauliflower, we were both happy with our food. Gourmet tacos for $2.50 is a good deal as well. We’ll definitely go there again.

I've seen this place a couple of times recently and I've been intrigued by the name, plus I love tacos. I came to Yelp to decide if it was worth trying and the most recent reviews were good so we went for it. It's delicious!! I notice some comments about the food being cold, it must have been a fluke because we order through doordash and it took about 15 minutes to get to us and the food is still hot. Would definitely recommend the queso and the carnita jefe.
