I find it pretty obvious when the owner responds to every negative review(real ones, not bar rescue ones) with I'm not sure what happened! Well Mr owner let me enlighten you. You're clueless to what's going on in your bar. According to yourself. Good luck, you won't last another year unless you wake up and KNOW what's going on in your bar. ?

Came in and was directly greeted, asked if we could sit on the patio. I only mention this to note that they KNEW we were there. There were maybe 20 people in the whole place. Sit down at a table that needed to be cleared, no problem. Sat there for 10-15 min watching the other two tables outside get served by two separate waitresses. So, also clearly not understaffed for the amount of people there. We were completely ignored (not even a “hi, we’ll be with you in a moment” or even looked at us) and ended up just walking out. Went across the parking lot to Rudy’s, got a table immediately and service within minutes. Don’t waste your time at Hideaway when there’s 5 better bar and grills within minutes.

Stopped in today for a quick bite to eat. Disappointed in the amount of food and service. Had chicken strips/tots and a French dip. 2 cokes. $38 but it gets worse. The chicken tasted ok but you only get 2 pieces and a handful of tots. Very large chicken pieces but for 15 or 16 bucks, it is a rip off. I ordered a French dip and they charged me for a Philly. Bread was underwhelming and the sliced beef was only a couple of slices not amounting to much. Handful of tots. 15 maybe? This same meal next door at Rudy's for about the same cost is 100 times better. That is why they are packed over there and this place is not. The table next to us could not eat their chicken so we should have taken that and ran but thought we would stay and try it. If the owner does not make changes here soon, they won't be open much longer. Service was hit and miss. We had to pay at the register as our server disappeared. Never offered drink refills, no ticket to pay. She simply was not there after serving the food. Not like there was very many people there. 5 tables maybe? Crazy!

Our server was kind, prompt and had great customer service. I'm hooked on the sweetfire sauce! We only had appetizers, and were more than pleased with what we had. We'll absolutely be back to try more. ??

Place is good. Stunned to see ppl cry about being towed as if they don't understand that each business has their OWN parking. Park where your supposed to, it's that simple! Support someone who's worked hard to try to bring a business around but not only helps them but helps the surrounding area, also brings another place to go to! Ill definitely go back

Owner and female staff (Annie/Dannie?) Trashing the newest member of their team, as well as refusing folks from out of town with a service animal . Been here many times and Rusty has been great every time. He's new and learning, yet the owner and staff talk bad about everything in front of customers. Not at all professional or adult. The owner needs a few lessons in manners. Thank you Rusty! You are better than this place. Food was good and until tonight, would recommend. Not anymore.

Great place!

Meet with friends or come in for a quick drink. Friendly staff, great food.

Thumbs down. Avoid at all costs. Not only terrible service but inedible food.Let alone Anti US and Anti-Idaho values watching the tow situation with his creepy cameras. Maybe he should focus on his business instead of watching family’s enjoy a nice breakfast in and around slow business hours. We planned on visiting after for a beer or two but absolutely will never visit again. This places food and and owner is repulsiveI’m very much looking to the owners reply. I have eaten here about 5x for context.Looking forward to this businesses replacement.

After a long day of driving, my husband & I decided to stop in for lunch around 3pm. With the exception of 5 cars, the parking lot was practically empty. We both drive dually pick up trucks so we parked in the back, near the dumpster, to be out of the way. After one table of 6 ladies & one other couple left, I believe we were the only customers in the place. We observed a gentleman, who we later learned was the owner, pull up to the building to park, grab a cart to move product and who we later saw standing behind the bar. We had a taco salad, a pulled pork sandwich & a beer each; spending $65! Bartender/server was efficient& friendly! Paid our tab, walked to our trucks & literally within 5 minutes, the “owner” made a mad dash to our trucks. He starts questioning why we were parked here & stated he was just calling to have us towed!! Really? Not only were we just “his” customers but quite frankly, the lot wasn’t bustling at 4pm! Even if we hadn’t frequented his establishment, we surely weren’t taking spots from potential customers. Definitely an unexpected end to what was a nice lunch! Nobody likes to be approached aggressively like that! We own 2 small businesses and would never consider running out after a patron to reprimand them about parking or anything for that matter! Not cool & quite surprising that he didn’t recognize us considering we were his only customers just 5 minutes prior! I’m from out-of-town so the chances of returning to this place is slim to none. However, we do have friends that work & live nearby who we will certainly tell about our experience!

Watch out if you are not going to eat here do not park in his lot! There is a tow truck waiting to hook up your car and charge you $350. They have a beef with the restraint around the corner and the only people paying for it is the customers. Sad since I have been a customer for the last few years, not anymore!

Terrible experience. The owner is scaming with the Hideway in Meridian so both can profit with cash. He sits in the field behind the Hideway and even though there is NO sign by the back lot he waits and watches in his tow truck fir you to walk away so he can take your vehicle. When you call ( there is a sign on the Hideway exterior wall that states who has your vehicle). You call and he is rude, yelling and then he hangs up on you and while screaming at you. Telling you don't obey the rule and you get what I deserve. When I arrived at Pink Towing to pay the fine, he starts yelling and ranting in a loud voice to get off his property. Mind you the gate was open, and the sign said Pink Towing.... So, I did, I got in my vehicle that he had towed and headed out the gate. Halfway out of the gate he started to shut the gate on my vehicle, locking my daughter in her car inside the yard and he sandwiched himself between her car and mine. I got out of the car calling the police while he shuts the gate on my foot, leaving a visible mark and bruise. I'm filing charges for battery, and she may file charges for unlawful detainment. We both asked immediately when we arrived where the office was to pay the $250 cash bill... He never would say, just screaming at the top of his lungs to get off his property. Even at the gate I told this man get your receipt book all I want to do is pay and leave. He decided he would rather harass and scream at me. It was scary and frightening to have a grown man yell and try and keep your child on the property. while forcibly shutting the gate behind me. I will never forget this experience and I plan on taking him to court. Anyone who has had a bad experience with him, please join me. Write letters to the DA so this man will be forced to stop harassing people.

Trying to find a place to have dinner New Year’s Day. Started off at a local pub and grill, but was way too loud. So we went just across the way to Hideaway Bar and Grill. Yes, the tv’s were on, but the sound was off. So not too loud. We sat at the bar and ordered the Baja tacos and the Mac and cheese. The food was great. And Justin gave us great service. Highly recommend.Vegetarian options: Quesadillas and Mac and cheese.Dietary restrictions: Corn tortillas and two vegetarian options. .

Parked here to get my nails done and then planned to have lunch with a friend at the Hydeaway after our nails were done. Got back from nails and my car was towed. I have eaten at this establishment several times in the past and I KNOW where the door is. I will never go back to this establishment if this is the way the owner treats his customers. It’s a sketchy business practice to have tow trucks just waiting for people to park so they can be towed. And for that matter, owner gets a financial kick back from the towing company. There are other options near by with better food and better business practices. My friends and I will never return.

Menu full of good bar food - great place to watch sports with several screens. The hot dogs were very good and recommend the New York hot dog. The drink pours were generous. They have billiards table, shuffle board, and some arcade games. We enjoyed the side order of Fried Pickle Fries.

Was going to get breakfast across the street today and the parking was full in the lot we needed. I pulled around to the Hideaway and was greeted by the most “pleasant” individual who told me I could not park in his lot (although there were no signs). Keep in mind is was 10AM and there was not a car in sight. I think the owner should spend more time making a better restaurant, rather than policing his desolate lot.Reading the other reviews, seems like this is the only way this establishment makes money. His food sucks so he bought a tow truck and makes his money towing cars from the other successful restaurants.Go back to California. Your unwanted in Idaho.
