Great time; sat at the bar and enjoyed a DELICIOUS meat & cheese plate. Very good service and VERY attractive "eye candy" :D Also got a nice discount because we stayed at The Monarch Motel across the street... don't forget to tell your server that. :)

Me and my 4 other friends have ordered their burger. They didn’t ask how we would like it to be cooked and all of them were cooked different, also the burgers bread was cold. We also got their cheeses as appetizer and they served almost an empty plate for 5 of us. One of my friend had burnt burger. Their coctails were also too strong, didn’t taste good at all.

The server was pleasant, we ordered and drinks took awhile, no big deal, our entree came, ordered wine, my husband had to go up to the bar to get our wine. Our filet came out medium, we ordered medium rare, we asked a staff member & she said "I think that's how they do medium rare here" the filet was grey on the outside, pink in the middle, our server came back & asked how the food was, I said, "The filet is over cooked but your assistant said that is how you do it." She said "OK, sorry" and continued on her way..I would not recommend eating here.

Nectar is one of the best options for fine dining and a good cocktail in Moscow. That being said, for a restaurant that costs ~$100 for two (entrees and a cocktail a piece) I think it leaves a little to be desired. While the featured cocktail menu changes periodically, the appetizer and entree menus have remained pretty much static and a few items are pretty basic. I understand that oven fries, Mac and cheese and a burger may be real appealing to some, but if I'm going to spend $25 on a meal, it's not gonna be a hamburger and potato wedges. The last few times we've visited we have been underwhelmed by the specials or they've been sold out. Nectar has a talented kitchen staff, it would be great to see a little more variety/seasonal rotation on the menu. That being said, the meatloaf is great. I get it every time. We miss Meatloaf Mondays!!!

This restaurant/owner should and could do better. The outside looks nice, and I was hopeful of having a nice meal with my wife while traveling. The meal was mediocre - the bacon wrapped meatloaf was difficult to stomach (OVERLY greasy with an off BBQ flavor), but all other items were of acceptable quality. When the bill came, I was surprised to see the very large fixed percent forced gratuity for the kitchen. The server stressed that this fixed additional gratuity should not impact her gratuity and was listed somewhere on the menu that I didn't see. *I just checked the website and cannot find this fee listed*. This is not what you expect when the menu price for an item is already over $25. Perhaps this fee is common in the area/region as I was visiting from out of town, however, it comes across as the owner trying to get away with paying kitchen staff insufficient wages and having the customer make up for it. Seems like if there is a fixed percent of each dish prepared that should go to the kitchen staff, then it should be included in the menu price and invisible to the customer rather than creating a strange customer experience.

Surprised I haven't already reviewed Nectar! One of my absolute favorites. Exquisite cocktails, great staff personalities, and excellent food with a variety of options for diet-restricted people. Their patio is wonderful, too.Dietary restrictions: Variety of options for those with dietary restrictionsParking: Must park downtown, but usually you can find parking within a 3 minute walk

We came here on a Graduation Saturday and the place was full. We didn't have reservations but it was snowing and I requested if we could wait until a table was available, they were very sweet to accommodate us on a table meant for for 2 ppl ( we were 3 of us) instead of waiting. Food n Drinks was delicious. We got 2 cocktails : Pear Daquiri Special Menu drink We got the crostini, salad, Lentil Balls and Squash Risotto. Salad was v fresh n refreshing! Lentil balls with gravy n paneer was super yummy . Risotto was warm, delicious n soul satisfying. I highly recommend this place n would def stop here for dinner if I am in the area.

I really enjoy this place, food is always delicious, drinks are top tier. One star taken off though bc their only way to make reservations is calling and leaving a voicemail, and their voicemail has been full for the last week, so hard to get a hold of them!

A very cute setting - the ambiance is excellent. The decor is wonderful, the candle is charming and it just is an overall pleasant dining experience. If you want a fancy dining experience, this is the place for you. We came in at 5:30 on a Friday and there was already a 2 hour waitlist - so I'd highly recommend folks put in a reservation here. When we came in at 7:30pm, they were already out of a lot of specials so that's another warning to folks who want to dine here. For an appetizer, we ordered the truffle fries. The fries ended up more like large, thick wedges and the truffle flavor was a bit muted. It often was overpowered by the house mayo they had. I wouldn't order this again but it was decent for what it was (just not spectacular). I ordered the lentil balls and my friend ordered the mac and cheese. Both were very good meals. The sauce for the lentil ball dish in particular was delicious and the naan very well flavored and baked. The lentil balls were solid though the paneer in the dish felt more like an afterthought. Overall, the food was good - though it was on the pricier end and I don't think it was fully worth the price tag.
