The root beer float was nasty. It was icy ice cream with Lukewarm root beer. The ratio of liquid to ice cream was off, with so much root beer. We ended up tossing it out. The cheese curds were very good though.

Just cold burgers and cheese is never melted

Three things to consider for any business offering a service: * Quality * Value * Experience A&W's brand brings quality and taste above all other competitors, doing so with little to no marketing. This is why it's primarily overlooked as the go-to for fast food burgers. There are not any real savings you'll get so prices are par for the course, and the dining experience will really depend on the neighborhood you eat at. In my opinion, this great-tasting burger (don't forget the in-house root beer TO DIE FOR!!) alone, keeps my hopes alive for a much-needed rebranding for this restaurant regarding all other aspects. 5 stars with an asterisk for me!

Worst hamburgers ever and the fries where old and and smashed at the bottom of the bag with cold hamburgers put on top. I won't spend my money there again.

So, I'm sorry to report that while I still love the food, I feel like service has been exceptionally slow and often poor lately. I understand that it is difficult to find service workers right now but 35 minutes for 2 burgers is just too long and the order was completely wrong. I just didn't want to wait anymore. Furthermore, watching managers ignore and yell at new hires was painful.

They sell an item called “spicy papa burger with jalapeños” but they don’t actually have the jalapeños. I checked back a few days later, still none. Supply chain issues for fresh produce? That’s ridiculous. Jalapeños don’t come from CHIIIINA. Also the KFC fries were cold and not that good last time.

I love that this location is soo close to home. Especially when they have $2 any size floats. Even though I shouldn’t get the large, I do with no regrets! I do also enjoy the cheese curds. I hope they consider bringing back the Siracha cheese curds as they were delicious! Nice kick but not overpowering. The only thing that I’d consider needing improvement is the staff not feeling rushed. I witnessed this one evening when there were only 4-5 vehicles in the drive-thru the staff were working too fast which created lower quality of the food. My float had a ton!! Of ice cream but not enough root beer and the cheese curds that evening were cooked just barely to melt but not enough to be CHEESY like I’ve always received in the past at this location. This will not deter me from continually enjoying these great treats! Keep up the good work!

The sign in the drive thru had a regular drink priced at $2.19 and a large at $2.39. We decided to get both large drinks. The cashier said that the total was $5.70. My wife pulled out a $5 and a $1 and received .30 change. But we were curious why the price was higher. We ordered 2 drinks at $2.39 which should be $4.78. We questioned the cashier. Her response was, "you ordered 2". We did the math for her and showed that it should be $4.78. She told us that there would be .32 tax. (so, maybe $5.10?) Another girl came to the window and asked us what was going on. We told her that we were being over charged for 2 large drinks. We told her that it should be $4.78 + tax. At that point, a third girl stuck her head out the window. She said "You don't want the rootbeers?" We told her that we do, but we are being charged too much. She said that a large rootbeer is $2.69. We told her that the sign said $2.39. She said "yes, we'll change that later. The price is $2.69. My wife said, " you need to charge us what the sign says". The girl said, "No I don't!". My wife told her that we wanted our money back then. My wife was still holding the .30 change from the initial transaction in her hand. My wife told her that she had given them $6 and this was her change, so if she can take the .30 and give us back our $6, we would be square. The girl asked my wife how she paid. Since my wife told her that she gave her $6 and she was holding .30 change in her hand, it should have been obvious. My wife told her that we had paid with a $5 and a $1 and was given .30 change. Take the .30, give us $6, and we would be good. The girl then shouted at my wife " ma'am, if you keep acting that way, I can't help you!" That was very offensive. Who does she think that she is speaking to my wife that way? My wife told her that we are just trying to get our money back. She took the thirty cents, and gave us a $5 bill and some change. Why wouldn't she give us a $1 bill? In my opinion, she was just being difficult. I asked the girl to write down the store number, because I was going to complain. She wrote down the number, but its hard to read her writing. Again, I think that she was trying to be difficult, because some of it is just scribbled on. It appears that she just wants us to try to figure out what they are. It looks like the last 5 numbers might be 50063. I asked the girl what her name was, and she just leaned forward and tilted her head. I thought that maybe she didn't hear me, so I asked her again. She didn't say anything. Then I realized that she had her name tag on her hat. Her name was Trinity. It appeared that she was intentionally being obtuse. Why couldn't she answer my question with words? Why did she write the store number in such a way that its not legible? Why couldn't she give us our money back in the way that we paid, a $5 and a $1? I also should add that she even gave us .05 too much. Instead of giving us our $1 bill back, she gave us 3 quarters and 3 dimes. My wife had to get her attention again and trade her a dime for a nickel. As we drove away, we heard Trinity say "Whatever". I need to point out that the price really isn't the issue. I know that $2.69 for a large A&W Rootbeer would be worth it. But there wasn't anything on the menu board that said $2.69. So the price that was advertised should be honored, otherwise it's a "bait n switch" or false advertisement. If the advertised price was a mistake, then they should charge accordingly and then change the sign. The problem that we have is the attitude of Trinity. Since she was the last person who came to the window to resolve the issue, we assume that she was in charge. Was she training other employees? The first cashier who took our money passed the situation on to others, so I assume that she might have been new. If Trinity is a manager or trainer, is this what we want to expect from A&W servers? I have been a loyal customer of A&W for m

I'm only going to give this place 2 stars ONLY because they have bomb fry sauce. We have went to this place several times hoping things would get better. But never again. Those young girls who take the order are the worst!. Its dirty, takes FOREVER to get your food and the last two times we went no air conditioning. It usually takes a pretty bad place to give a 2 star to but unless they start stepping things up Save your money go to McDonald's at least you know what your getting

Great alternative to less nutritious fast food places. They tend to forget sauces but always get the orders right.

Rootbeer floats always on point

Usually not too bad... The last trip was a nightmare... Failure!!!

Wylie McAlear

Make sure and tell them if you order cod that you want tatar sauce, seems like you should just get it but no i guess you have to specifically ask for the one condiment that they have for the one thing that is on the menu for it
