I asked for eggs cracked straight on the grill and scrambled. They did not do that they gave me the eggs out of the box and refused to do the eggs cracked on the grill. After that when they gave me the check I realized they put a $12.50 gratuity on my bill. The server didn't even check on the table as much as needed we did not have drinks for half the time we were there. There's no way they deserve a $12.50 gratuity

We discovered this place last October and loved it. We went again this month when we were in Pocatello. We may have eaten there more than once during that trip.

Excellent food and service. The owner even stopped by to say hello. The cinnamon twists are to die for, soooo good! The open faced sandwiches are fantastic. More food than you can eat. I'll be back.

Update April 2024: This visit we ordered dinners for lunch - Rump Roast entrees, small and large versions. Our meals tasted delicious, and we found our server most attentive. We found our egg breakfasts satisfying and the service satisfactory.

My brother's food had 4 hairs in it. I had the fish sandwich and it was a dry chicken nugget sized fish between two slices of bread. Took one bite and left it. Asked for country gravy for my fries which was essentially elmers glue. Server didn't ask how the food was after seeing my full plate and me not asking for a box. We just left. Still tipped our server well because he was a nice kid and it wasn't his fault.

A very nice place to eat but since their relocation there service has went down we are handy capped and they set us clear in the back at table 28 with spaces open in front ..we ordered coffee and water we never got refills on them but paid $3.00 for the coffee also ordered biscuits and gravy which was $10.00 a plate small hard biscuits barley enough gravy to cover them and no sausage ??? And barely warm we also got maple twists which we got to go whichwe had to remind her to bring to us ....they wasn't cooked I had to cook them when we got home ....really ?We drive 80 miles just to eat there and get this kinda service ..and have to pay $30.00 for it. When other places is $17.00 to $18.00 for biscuits and gravy and a good size biscuit and a lot of sausage gravy ...

It just feels out of place since they moved. Still the same great food and people, but the building just feels like a downgrade. Seating is disjointedParking: Like the seating it just seems disjointed herring bone layout. Got someone elses paint on my nice bumper.

The staff seems nice, but aloof. It wasn't busy at all for a Thursday afternoon. The spicy chicken appetizer is delicious, though it tastes exactly like Wingers amazing sauce.Main course food was unseasoned and disappointing. (Finger steaks were tasteless, chicken fried steak has no flavor under the gravy)There is also no longer booths to sit in, which os sad because the chairs do not support enough for taller people.

ButterBurrs is always one of my top choices when eating in Pocatello.True Homestyle food, in an awesome atmosphere. The whole family loves it and I've never been disappointed. If you Like Lord Of The Rings, this is your place as it has stylings of Hobbiton and The Shire all over as well as maps of Middle Earth.Go treat yourselves at ButterBurrs, and make sure to try the homemade SCONES ??Kid-friendliness: They were very kind to my kid and he loved Eating in "The Castle"

Decent food, large portions, friendly staff. The building is kind of tired and could use an update.
