I would not recommend this place. Although it was a drive-through and quick service and shakes & fries were alright the cost is too expensive and tasted bland, nothing special. The chicken sandwich felt soggy and the bun felt stale, there was also a piece of hair in my sandwich. I immediately threw it away. This location also didn't carry the hurricane dessert which we were looking at the website and were excited to try. The cost was around $48 for just 2 burgers, 2 shakes and a side of fries. Ridiculous. Disgusting. Would never eat here again.

Best fast food restaurant in sandpoint, they always have the food out in a timely matter and they don’t sacrifice quality for speed. The staff are always fun to talk to and have a great attitude towards their customers. I love this place and it is my favorite place to get French fry’s from.

Was barely edible except the huckleberry shakes they were good, it was hotter in that place then it was outside and it was 99 degrees outside, my husband and I both had burgers and 7hrs later both sick..even though I now every place is different when it comes to chain eateries after this experience I really don't want to try again anywhere but my husband always loved zips he grew up on it..but never that specific 1 again ever..oh and please put an out of order sign on the ladies room if your not going to unlock it in the 30min we were there no 1 went in or out of it but it was locked the whole time I finally said screw it and my daughter and I used the mens room

We are visiting grandparents from Utah and decided to try Zip’s Drive In- Ponderay tonight for dinner! We have a family of 4 and the Family Meal was the perfect size/ratio for each person! They have Fry Sauce here on top of the food being so delicious! The fry sauce I asked for was jalapeño fry sauce and I must say that it was divine!! So good! We will definitely be back and add Zip’s to our restaurant list going forwardKid-friendliness: Great choices and plenty of options for kids as well!
