Great food and friendly service. William, the food chef and pastry chef, does a great job creating unique quality dishes. In the winter the Tuesday and Wednesday night themed specials are great. The seafood special is always fresh and flown in, not frozen. Recommend the great breakfast and brunch or just a nice dinner here.Parking: Electric car charging nearby, gas next door.Kid-friendliness: Friendly atmosphere with food choices for all agesWheelchair accessibility: No steps

Chimney Rock Cafe at Priest Lake is such a treasure! My preferred cup of coffee at the lake, huge huckleberry pancakes and service is always friendly! We’ve had plenty of breakfast and lunches here over the last few years and never disappointed. We often swing in early to beat the rush in the busy season.

This place is well-loved by the local community, as evident by all the positive reviews, but I don't know if Priest Lake residents truly understand how lucky they are to have a talented chef like William Webster presiding over the menus way out here off the beaten path.Even in bigger metro areas it's nearly impossible to keep restaurants filled with staff that can make you feel like they're not miserable to be at work, let alone happy to be there. Yet somehow, way out here where the population shouldn't be able to support it, Jess, William and crew continue to make you feel warm and welcome every time you go in.What an absolute gem. Bravo.

GREAT breakfast! Service was very good. Cool little toasters at the table for your bread. You toast your own bread. Kinda cool actually! Old style toasters add to the atmosphere. I had the chicken fried steak breakfast. It was very good, generous amount of gravy but not too much, if that makes sense. I got my eggs scrambled, and they tasted like they were cooked in the bacon grease! I love that taste, just like my Grandma use to do it. Bacon was crispy, but not overdone perfect. I got the hash browns, they were ok. This place is two hours from my house, so I had never been before. If I end up back there for a breakfast meal I would get the breakfast potatoes. We had 11 people in our party, I think everyone got what they ordered and the orders were correct and all came out together. One of the people in our party had eggs Benedict and loved it.We had a big group so they added the gratuity to the bill. Don't double the tip by accident! I am good with the tip being added for the group we had. Very good breakfast if I am in Priest Lake again, I will definitely go back!Oh and the pancakes are HUGE!

Our visit was absolutely perfect. We tried several dishes and they were all fantastic. You will not go wrong by eating here. We highly recommend this restaurant. They should have 5 stars for food, service, and atmosphere.

While on vacation this week my little daughter and I went here for dinner. Before i was finished with my class of wine the waitress rudely asked me to leave telling me others we’re waiting on tables. There were empty tables near us. I would never recommend this place. Ive never had anyone be so rude in any restaurant in any city.

Incredible flavor in every bite. Bloody Mary was impressive as well, the pickled veggies were a nice garnish touch.Came in with 8 people and were seated right away. Great service, kind server. They do charge a 20% mandatory large party gratuity over 8 people, but well worth it.We ordered the pastrami sandwich and the French dip. Couldn’t take photos because we ate them too fast. The au ju was next level and the horseradish was so flavorful. We were also told the bread is made in house! It was flakey and crispy on the outside with fluffy texture inside. Will be so excited to come back and try the pastries!

House made soups daily and burgers what else do you need ?. Always a great stop in for lunch to watch the game or sit on patio in the summer with the local squirrels.

Erika was delightful. The eggs were as ordered. The bacon was the best and the huckleberry habanero sauce I request was savory.

Chimney Rock Cafe was shockingly good on our first visit. We keep going back because the staff is top notch and the food is fresh/delicious. I’d suggest checking out the specials board before ordering. If you judge a cafe on their biscuits and gravy you’ll be impressed. The baked goods (by the door) are the best road snack between Sandpoint and Spokane in my opinion.I’ve never been there for a bistro night but I hear great things about it.
