Restaurant was closed Tuesday and Wednesday we arrived on a Monday so after traveling all day we set up the RV and headed over. There was a small shower go through but nothing big. We got over to the restaurant and they said since it rained they closed early. Wow a few sprinkles and no service. The bar was open!!The campground has full hook ups but gravel narrow spaces. There were other campers in the next row blasting music so loud it was ridiculous. We like music but having to completely listen to they're rap list was much couldn't of heard ours inside out rig it was that loud. Some people just don't have any etiquette on respecting others vacation areas. SMHCampground is right on the water with a very narrow crooked boat launch. By the way $10 a day launch fee. I'll update when the restaurant opens for business.**** Restaurant had really good food. Boyfriend had the prime rib was a little tough but tasty. I had the gyro appetizer and they were delicious. Was definitely resort prices. Drinks were good. **** campground bathrooms were not cleaned the whole week we were here. Disgusting.

Slow service, overpriced food. We ordered two dinner salads, and two lemonade, and it took them an hour, and our bill was over $30 for tiny salads and no refilled drinks. This is the second time we've tried thithis place and both times were the same. We won't be going back.

Please keep up the improvements- every year it just gets better! The location and outside dining are super fun for a boat excursion. This place is "summer"!

Great location right on the water. Our service was good during lunch hours. We had the gyro appetizer that held 3 small gyros, it was delicious! Also the fish tacos were fried perfectly, not too greasy. The tacos came we a side and we chose fries. The beer battered fries were perfection! I usually like sauce to dip fries in, these needed nothing. We will be back! I'd rate this 4.5 if that was an option.

Nice location. Very average food at best. This restaurant has lots of potential but hasn't achieved it yet. They try hard, it's evident, but a few simple suggestions will make it a destination instead of a choice of convenience only. 1. Make your own burgers - not hard, but so much better. Perfect the burger and you will elevate the experience so much. If we want a Costco patty we will do it at home. 2. Offer a few more healthy options. Fried food is easy. Try a healthy entry or two. Strive for excellence instead of mediocrity.

First, the waitress brought us our drinks with no ice, apologizing for the ice maker being broken. When she came back for our order, we pointed out how every other table had ice in their drinks. She then brought us a pitcher of ice and took our orders. Over 57 minutes later, she returned with our food. The food was good quality, but it took so long for it arrive that my daughter became weak and physically ill. We heard another waitress warn her customers that the kitchen was behind and orders would take longer. Had we received a similar warning, we would probably have ordered appetizers or some snack item to alleviate our hunger.

This marina is one of the best kept secrets of North Idaho. Amazing facility and staff (although they are having challenges hiring because of the somewhat out of the way location). The staff is wonderful and doing the best they can given how busy they are. This is also a satellite location for the Fun Unlimited Boat Club. So go up and enjoy one of North Idahos best kept secrets. My favorite spot to enjoy a tranquil beer at the amazing waterside setting.

Great full bar, and incredible atmosphere, as you are literally sitting ON the Pend Oreille river. They have an amazing musician that performs every Friday and Sunday, early evening, just as you're getting off your boat! You can drive there too! Their high highly ranked chef turns out beautiful steaks all the way to great fries and burgers! I couldn't get enough of this place over the summer.

Willow Bay was a solid 5 star place until the menu kept getting stripped down. There is virtually nothing on the menu anymore. Kids have two options, adults have a few more.. but not many. Go here for the river's edge atmosphere and enjoy a drink and the friendly service... do not expect to have many choices for food. Even before the menu was reduced, the options were extremely limited in terms of fruit/veggies. I get it, small kitchen and shelf life probably need to be considered... this is not the place to go for an epic salad... but you need more than a couple things if you want people to be able to come back repeatedly. We can't even get some of the easiest old standbys any more (sliders for kids and BLT). We will be back for the huckleberry margaritas or a cold beer as we do truly enjoy this place and we want to support the staff and owner. We hope to be back for food too, if/when the menu is given a bit more life. Willow Bay has potential to be a real gem - crossing my fingers that it gets there again!

Great location. I pulled up in the boat and received a table right away. Only ordered a few drinks and onion rings but everything was great. Looking forward to going again.

Oof! Less than half full, and 90 min wait for food?! Considering the menu has been stripped to almost nothing, this is pretty sad. Sorry Sandpoint, this is a bad representation.

We were greatful to get a spot as our vacation plans had a last minute change. The employees are friendly and the grounds are keep tidy. However, the week we stayed at Willow Bay, the restroom and showers were not cleaned the entire week. There was a clump of hair in each of the women’s showers that was there all week, along with a bar of soap, also the floors were littered with debris. My son and husband told me the men’s restroom/showers were in the same condition. Therefore they get 3 stars, for as much boat and general traffic as they get, the restrooms need to be thoroughly cleaned daily. Ms. Anna, Paige Travis and the other grounds keeper are fantastic. We ate at the restaurant with friends that came up to visit and Samatha was a little stressed about being short handed and it showed.
