We have always enjoyed the sandwiches at The Local Deli. The bread is very fresh & the meats & cheeses taste great. We'd give them 5 stars except at our last visit, we requested pickles on our sandwiches. The server told us that pickles come on all sandwiches. We told her that we just wanted to be sure. We love pickles. They just make the sandwich better. We took our sandwiches to go & were headed out of town when we opened them. There were No pickles at all. Very disappointing when we had a full conversation with the server about pickles & how we really like them & wanted to be sure that they were included on our sandwiches. It was too late to go back, but we called the Deli to get them know about their mistake. All we got was an insincere sounding 'Uh, ok, sorry about that'. No offer to make it right in the future. We don't expect free sandwiches, but an offer to make it right would have been a more professional response than what was given.

Honestly if you want a top tier sandwich they even make the bread there with the freshest ingredients, and also provide sprouts. Pay the local deli a visit. I would rate them among the top 3 sandwich places in the area.

There is a phenomenal take on a French Dip, called the Mom’s Dip! If you like Pesto go for the Baby J’s, definitely one of my Favorites! I love the Appleway Salad as well!You wont leave hungry! The Italian has 4 meats! Don’t forget to check out their desserts! I’ve never had a bad experience there.Vegetarian options: The Employees are more than willing to make the sandwiches or salads according to your preferences!

These guys are the best. I dont know why it isn't jam packed all day. Great sandwich. I went in a few nights ago and ordered a large sandwich. I made the comment that I'd have half for lunch the next day. He immediately asked "do you want me to wrap that half up for you?" Heck yeah! That is custo.er service. Go get you some!
