“Love eating here and crave it often. My mom lived in Hong Kong for a while and I grew up with her cooking Chinese. This restaurant is the closest to what she would cook for us. I love that the vegetables taste like they were cooked fresh and their fried rice isn’t greasy like a lot of Chinese food places make it. Their egg rolls are the best I’ve ever had. Also love their crab wontons. I love that it’s locally owned and family run so your supporting small business. It never disappoints. My personal favorites are the mandarin chicken, broccoli beef, moo goo gai pan and cashew chicken.“
“I love New Fong's! There is such a beautiful and cozy atmosphere and the food is delicious! The service is great and the Fong family is super sweet. This would be a lovely place to go for a first date, a family outing, a birthday, you name it! My favorites are the Spicy Honey Chicken and the spring rolls! ;)“

I have had Chinese food in San Francisco, but NO RESTAURANT CAN COMPARE to New Star Restaurant.The owner is very particular about how often he changes the oil. This has been an eye opening after understanding the color of the food I was served here. I asked why my fried rice was not brown and did not taste greasy? He explained it.He also informed me that when you put quality service in what you enjoy, it does not matter if others acknowledge or appreciate It, but you know you gave your best.I recommend this restaurant and business owner as being the BEST IN THE INDUSTRY.Anyone who eats here is treated to clean oil and quality care.A+. “One of my favorite resturants. I love getting their General Tso chicken and sushi. They're dinner/lunch plates are massive and could be easily shares or split into several meals. (Perfect for my broke college besties.) I've dined in and got food delivered and it's been fantastic everytime. 100% recommend.“
