It's a nice place, honestly. The staff is nice and friendly, and the people are nice as well. I have no complaints. I lived nearby and would walk there whenever I was craving something they had. Would be 5 stars but they rarely ask my phone number for the rewards program thing so I should have a lot more points in my account than I do. But still, great food, great vegan options, great service, overall really chill vibe. This place is like if Taco Bell gave you twice as much food, made it a little faster, did it for the same price, used fresh ingredients, didn't find a way to get every order as wrong as humanly possible on a consistent basis, and actually cleaned their bathrooms. You may not like Mexican fast food, but if you do and the choice is between this place and Taco Bell, choose this place. Actually, choose any place over any Taco Bell.Vegetarian options: You can get non vegetarian stuff but just have them sub extra veggies for the meat, but there's also a few main menu items like the veggie burrito and quesadilla that don't have meat, and all the sides and desserts are vegetarian.

This is the best Taco Time in the area. Everyone is also so kind and helpful. The food is always incredible (I recommend the mexifries/stuffed tots). The decor is super fun and vibrant which makes eating in an experience. There's a lot of options for different dietary restrictions like vegetarian, pescatarian, and even people who don't like Mexican-American cuisine.
I tried this place twice, thinking the first time was just a fluke. Growing up eating at a different taco place, my expectations were too high. The taco shells just taste stale. The bean burrito was just bland and flavorless. The staff was super friendly. The restaurant was very clean. Just not my kind of place.

Surprisingly the dine in is a reasonably classy environment.8/10/23Asked to change the nacho meat to chicken and I think I got maybe 4 one inch cubes of chicken, plus they charged a dollar. So don't do that.9/9/23Prices went up significantly... or at least hit a threshold that makes it no longer where I want to eat. Chicken quesadilla is now $6.63 after tax. Figure I can get a pizza for that price and have leftovers. It tasted great though.

The BEST Taco Time I have been to in Idaho hands down! Portions are bigger, flavor is more consistent, service is light years ahead (especially compared to Idaho falls...). When the owner is working there, he would give me or any of my family, an empanada for free for no reason other than to be nice.

I've been going to this location since I was a kid with my dad (around 50 years ago). They have always been popular and busy for a reason. Great food and great service. I read some reviews about Taco Bell being better...lol. That is comical. There is no comparison. Hard shell tacos and mexi fries with Taco Time hot sauce have always been my favorite but, I have had everything on their menu at least once. Never disappointed.
