This is the choice for apres ski eating for the ladies I ski with on a weekly basis. Comfy sitting area with good windows for people watching. Always have interesting beers and good wine choices. 3 of us are vegetarians and we always have a couple of interesting choices. AND …. When we had a birthday on a ski day and I asked if they could make a small lemon cake … they not only did but it was beautiful and a delicious, dense moist cake with a rich buttercream frosting. Oh my, Complete yumminess!!!! Well done.?applause &??way way up.

Great food, better people, and an outstanding selection of alcohol. If you're on Schweitzer and you're hungry, you would be wrong to pass this place up!

Have not eaten there but manager showed us all the amazing bottles of wine. Spent a lot if time with us discussing wine from all over Europe as well as our travels on German wine road. He was very excited about his product and it showed.

This is absolutely the best way to warm up after playing in the snow. The decor is unique, the atmosphere is comfortable...but the food selections are a real treat. Meats and cheeses and breads served on a platter are our favorites, along with the bruschetta plate. Many wines to choose from here, glasses or bottles to sate your thirst. We usually get coffee, and they do brew a mean cup here.Highly recommended.
After our ski lift up, we explored the ShyHouse. Friendly staff, and a beautiful facility. We didn’t eat in the restaurant however.

Gary is the best wine guru in the area. The cheese selection is incredible too. A must visit for any foodie in the Sandpoint area or just visiting.
