The Fat Pig is a Sandpoint staple. In the summer they have a great patio in downtown Sandpoint. Food is always great! I often try a special but my favorites are bang bang salad, the burgers and belly bits! The Pig is only beer and wine so they put a lot of effort into the wine list and beers on draft. They often change up the menu but keep the favorites. I would recommend reservations- we just call ahead and we can usually get it!Dietary restrictions: They often use tamari and rice flour to keep things GF. They also have GF bread. Staff is very knowledgeable on the items!Parking: Free street parking but also many free lots very close by.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu! Burger, chicken strips and grilled pbj.Wheelchair accessibility: They are very wheelchair accessible.
Great good, great service, and varied many. All around good experience. Our server was so attentive. We split a meal which plates on separate plates and didn’t charge us extra like many places do. We had the veggie burger was yummy and the fries were some of the best ever. Didn’t even require ketchup. Highly recommend the fat pig. Oh yea, the ice tea is freshly made too.

Came here for dinner after a visit to Schweitzer Mountain. The staff was very friendly. The food was delicious, I had the Salmon special and it was cooked perfectly and sides were delicious and healthy. My sister's husband had the ramen and was a sizeable portion! The prices were also very reasonable and a large drink selection. I hope I get to come back to Schweitzer and I would definitely come back to Fat Pig!

Veggie Burger- hard to tell based on description but it is essentially beans on toast with a non-patty shaped bean mass on the bottom, a mushy tomato, and a whole lotta micro greens. The chipotle aioli helped on flavor, but overall it was a fake burger and soggy fries. Def try something else. Chicken Sandwich- pretty bland sandwich, there isn't a patty, it's more like chicken tenders and the burger falls apart really easily. Also there's little flavoring in the patty .
We loved our visit to The Fat Pig! Visiting Sandpoint for NYE weekend and it was recommended to us by a friend - and we're so glad we listened! We started off with the elote dip and it was so good. I'm now inspired to start making elote dip at home . For our mains we got their pork belly ramen and hanger steak. The ramen was great and had so much pork belly! Thoroughly enjoyed it. Broth could probably have a little more flavor, but they give you soy sauce and sriracha to add to it as you please. The hanger steak was cooked perfectly and the leek side was super tasty. A great selection of craft beers too! Overall the ambience was lively and casual...we heard live music from the winery next door which was enjoyable! Our service was great too!

Great experience! Food was excellent and great service. Came here with my husband and 2 year old. Grilled cheese, burger and cauliflower salad all delicious! Highly recommend! And if you have to wait for your table just go next door to Pend Oreille Winery!

The beer is cold and refreshing. The ribs and chicken tenders are delish. Gluten free, both of them, which made my experience guilt free. Kellie took great care of us! Topped it off with delicious dessert. If in town, check out this place!

Food was good, but a bit bland. Pad Thai sauce a bit vinegar forward. Korean chicken appetizer was really good.
