Excellent smoked meats. Brisket and pulled pork were some of the best I've had! Glad they're here in Idaho Falls. Ask for the mix of regular BBQ and spicy.

OMGOSH so delicious!!! We just stopped tonight and picked up brisket. Melt in your mouth, bbq sauces are excellent. We will be back again soon. Put your order in early, they sell out. This is take home bbq. There is no seating at this time. Get your grub on, this is worth it!!!❤️

Amazing BBQ - hands down the best in the area. High quality food/meat and great customer service. I always get a 1/2 order of the nachos and the McCall sandwich. I love it here! The line can be a little slow so try and get there before the rush. Highly recommend this place m.

Amazing, I have heard good things for awhile but was finally able to make it out. I got brisket and my wife got pulled pork. Everything I saw people eating looked amazing. The sauces were amazing and probably the best part. Now to the brisket! You just need to get on the road and go eat there now.

Let me start off by saying we’ve lived in prime BBQ locations around the nation (St.Louis and Kansas City). We have tried several restaurants in each location and had some dang good BBQ.When I searched restaurants in Shelley, ID, I wasn’t sure how Raised Southern would measure up. I was pleasantly surprised.The meat was excellent! Very tender and lots of flavor. I ordered the Brisket sandwich and my husband order the Wild Bill (brisket and sausage and he added queso sauce). We enjoyed all of the different BBQ sauce options and especially enjoyed the Belle.On the opposite side of the spectrum were their side dishes. We decided to order almost all of them (baked beans, Texas green beans, loaded potato salad, Mac and cheese and corn) because I love sides. We were so disappointed ?. The only redeeming side dish was the green beans. My husband didn’t mind the potato salad, but everything else just fell flat. There was a good amount of spice in the beans, but the flavor wasn’t quite right.Overall, I would go back for the brisket sandwich and Belle sauce (and Texas green beans), but say no to all other sides.

One of the best southern BBQ I’ve had since leaving Texas! Very friendly owner and staff! Owner brought his Texas roots to Shelley, Idaho and boy are they lucky to have him!! This native Texan loves chopped beef and while it wasn’t on the menu, he chopped the brisket anyway! Many choices of bbq sauces to choose from! The loaded baked potato salad was good as well as the baked beans!!! A short drive from Idaho falls! You will not be disappointed!!

These guys started with a trailer in town and finally they have a restaurant. I have to say this is some of the best I have eaten. Whether it's the brisket or pork it is juicy and tasty. I don't have to use any sauce. It's that good. I would say this is the best in our area. I go when ever I get a chance. Place is clean and the staff is friendly.

Definitely worth the drive from Idaho Falls. Between the two of us we had the chicken poblano sausage, brisket, pulled pork, loaded baked potato salad, and queso mac n cheese. Everything was really delicious and we'll absolutely be back.
