It's a darling little shop, very good sandwiches, in fact, really well thought out, but I didn't give them 5 stars because they aren't as friendly as they should be. Snooty. I just don't accept that in a little town like Troy. We've been there 3 times and by 2:00 they've run out of soup. Just a small but annoying thing.

We both got the Reuben sandwiches. The cashier let us know they were out of Rye bread so we chose sourdough. The bread was well toasted and the sauerkraut they make is excellent. Lunch meat pressed and formed meat was a let down. Bagged chips for a side and a canned soda.

We love the filling station! It a great little place close to home- comparable places are much more of a drive. We take the kids here for little dates with us when we need some one-on-one time together. People are nice and the food is good Give it a try!
