Called at 10:30pm to place an order to confirm they are open the gentleman said pick up until 11pm, called back 10:33pm after looking at the menu. Gave my order to the guy he said if I can’t be there in 5 mins he can’t make my order. I told him I will be there 10:45 (15 mins before there closing time listed on website) I explained to the guy you are saying 5 mins I’ll be there in 10 min he said he can not take my order. Do keep in mind I originally called 30 mins before. If that was listed on there website I would not mind but what restaurant closes 30 mins before closing time. Absolutely ridiculous!!! This was my first time dealing with them will never return!!

My friends and I went and got falooda which was brought to us in a small plastic cup that looked nothing like the picture that they advertise. When we went to eat it, there were chunks of the noodles and seeds that looked like they were taken out straight from the freezer. The taste of the falooda was as if the ingredients were very old, you can't even call that falooda. It was completely liquidy with rooh afza just drizzled on the bottom. When I approached the hijabi lady working there she immediately striked with "I didn't make that" and proceeded to walk away. When asked to get the person who DID make it, she stated "oh im sure she'll come out in a minute", which she definitely did not. We didn't even ask for a refund we just wanted to let them know how unacceptable this was and how we didn't appreciate the attitude from the first lady I approached to which she said "this is just my personality Im not showing attitude I dont know what you're talking about oh and also, this is self service go throw away your garbage". Will never be dining here again. Customer service is absolutely unacceptable.

Save your money, this place is terrible. Ordered a falooda that was served in a tiny Styrofoam cup. It was not worth the 4 dollars. Chole Batura had chole that was not cooked through. It cost 10 dollars and was barely an order for one person. Its literally half a cup of chole with one puri. This place was not busy at all and I went in on a Saturday evening.

Below average in taste. Definitely better chaat options out there. Definitely skip the falooda and the chapli burger, it was quite awful. Bhel Poori was decent and good quantity. Paani poori was just ok.

I wish there was a separate rating system for food and and ambience. Ambience and the store is top notch, definitely a 5 star place. Unfortunately, the food is not the same. I went their for the food and that's why my low rating. The tea is too milky and is not the real "Irani chai" that claim to be...I tried 3 times and the taste was consistent but not for my taste buds from what I remember.

It was one of my favorite places in the area they used to have best chaats and best food however recently I bought food and it was very very cold and the papdi chat I bought had no flavor and felt like it came from the freezer and had no taste I was very disappointed because I was really hungry and was excited to eat that. Next I order on my phone and they said in 10 mintues it would be ready but no not at all 10mins means 1 whole hour.Next I bought 4 zingers burgers for $8 which on the menu it was $6 . So there menu PRICES online is wrong. FIX YOUR MENU!!!! im not over yet one of my zinger burger had a blonde hair. I NEVER WRITE REVIEWS ON ANYTHING BUT THIS HAPPENED TO ME MULTIPLE TIMES. THEY USED TO PUT SO MUCH EFFORT IN THERE FOOD NOW ITS TRASH. I Hope New York Chathouse changes this because a lot of people do love this store but there food is like from canned jars super disappointing.

The place is spacious and clean however the food is not very good. ordered samosa chaat and dahi puri, which were basically the same thing.. not too much flavor and some of the samosas were rock hard and completely inedible.the only good thing was the soup of the day - hot & sour chicken soup, it was delicious.we also ordered a cheeseburger, the patty was big but smelled badly of that meaty smell.for $40 this was absolutely not worth it.also i found it weird that for every food item i had to get up while i was eating to grab it from the counter. it was not busy at all and it wouldn’t be too hard for the server to bring it to our table. not the best customer servicemost of all, NONE of the staff was wearing a mask. not even a mask that was pulled down lol just completely no mask. very unsafe in these times.

Samosa Chaat and bubble tea was yummy. The chaat was a little bit cold but after speaking with the manager he spoke with the chef so hopefully in the future they will keep that in mind. The manager was super nice!!
