My husband and I went to eat now that the new owner (the anchor) is there. Terrible food. My husband ordered some aguachiles, and it only came with about 5 shrimp swimming in a Valentina sauce, and for starters they only pass the pure toast without a side, We always came when it was called the beaches, but now with these new owners (the anchor) it is terrible, seriously don't waste your time and your money because they also raised the prices on the menu!

They have good food and the service is decent but since the new owners took over, it just went downhill. The portions were changed to smaller sizes with the same price and the alcoholic drinks are also significantly smaller. Bring back the old owners because this ain’t it.

paid about 95.00 in total for three dishes tropical ceviche and ceviche de pescado. literally got only two small containers for each. only satisfying qty was the camarones a la diabla. very disappointing for the high price yet small portions and qty. do not recommend for that prive range & small qty served. food is not that great either

We got there and they got us a table pretty quick.We were waiting for about 20 minutes and a waiter finally came.we got our drinks after another 20 minutes.We ordered our food and it was very pricey.Definitely do not go if your not wanting to spend a lot.We got our food after waiting for so long.I asked for a coke but never got one but they didn't charge it.The food was mid and not worth the price.

Celebrated a family birthday and the service was great and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. The portions were big, food was good, not too spicy but can be made spicier.We brought out own cake and they held it in the fridge until we were ready.Do bring cash to avoid the card fee, chase and BMO nearby.

Nice place, good food indeed... very authentic... flavoring was on point. Shrimp were grilled perfectly, I enjoyed the slight char.... Horchata was great....Staff was extremely nice, place was nearly crowded and the food still came out fast and hot. Will be back again, I will need to try the fish next time for sure.Kid-friendliness: Lots of kids here today

Food is decent. But they don't gut the shrimp. Extra flavor I guess.. I was overcharged.. and by that I mean like double the original cost. Server still looked at me with a dirty look when I tipped her 3.00 now that I remember. I didn't notice I was overcharged until later when my gorgeous blonde wifey mentioned it in the car. At that point I was too full to drive back and kick some a*** They have a kid fresh off the boat from Mexico or Guatemala making the food... he was complaining too. I'm Latino too so I'm not racist but the kid must've been 16. Let's just say I doubt he's cooking the food with love..

Worst food I've had in a while and VERY expensive! I had the shrimp diablo dinner. $18 for WAY over cooked shrimp that were like rubber bullets, battered french fries, a blob of over cooked tasteless rice and a tiny salad with no dressing. The sauce tasted generic and store bought. BLEK! I ate only 1/3 of it.
