Great breakfast! Service is great and the food is oh so good! So many menu options. I had an omelet, my wife had the Belgian waffle. Both were absolutely delicious and prepared perfectly.

We feel like we found a hidden gem! My husband and I have been here twice now and both times the (breakfast) food was very good! Large portions, fresh and hot! I had the "greekish omelette" and my husband is more traditional and ordered bacon/eggs & waffles. Delicious! The place is clean, updated, has a friendly staff and quick service. It is located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. I would suggest to the owner that they seat people by the front windows - as sometimes it looks like it is not open .... but it is! We will be back!

Lousy service. Staff is rude. And they wouldn't honor coupon from there website. Wait staff was pathetic and manager was no where to be found.

I don't know why this place isn't always packed. The Belgium waffle I had was light and fluffy; served with warm syrup. Yummy. And I don't know if bacon can be perfect but what I had today would be it. Give this place a try. You won't be disappointed.

My husband and I used to order takeout from here frequently for our weekend breakfast and it was always mediocre until this last visit. We ordered two skillets and were told it would be about 20 minutes. I picked up the food 30 minutes later and when I got home I noticed the styrofoam had burn holes in it and was completely melted through from the food. I called into the restaurant right away and asked if there was anyway they could remake the food since it was contaminated by the melted styrofoam to go boxes. I explained that there wasn't a single bite out of the meals and that we didn't even pop the yolks on the eggs and we weren't comfortable eating the food after it had melted through the box. The boxes had a huge hump from the pancakes melting through too and couldn't even lay flat on the counter. Usually places will put tinfoil or something in between to protect the container from the heat. The hispanic woman on the phone told me it was our fault since we took so long to pick it up and they couldn't fix it. I explained that we have had this take out multiple times and I have let it sit at home before after picking it up and have NEVER had any of the food melt through the styrofoam. I asked if they could just re make the skillets for us and they said there was nothing they could do about it so both skillets were disposed of and we wasted $36. I currently work in a breakfast place and I know for a fact if a regular customer had a complaint about their food being melted into the take out container my managers and the restaurant would immediately re make the meal to assure the customer is taken care of and not given contaminated food. As a restaurant that does take outs they should have a way to prevent the food from melting into the styrofoam to avoid their customers eating melted particles from the boxes. A manager was supposed to reach out to me regarding our issues with the breakfast and I never received a call. My husband and I will never eat here again after such a poor experience from the staff and the manager not even bothering to reach out.

Our waitress was splendid. Didn't rush us, or make us feel bad because we had walked in 45 minutes before they closed! I tried the breakfast Quesadilla. very good! We also had the B&G which ya cant go wrong with biscuits and gravy!!! I even placed an order to go and it was soo good. I've said it once, I'll say it again, this place is delicious. 5 Stars.

went in for a late breakfast and less than an hour before closing- the server was attentive and friendly and gave no sign of rushing us. The food was delicious and enticing - perfectly toasted bread, light and fluffy eggs, beautiful hash browns. The cafe itself was light and cheerful and clean- great place for breakfast or lunch!

Giving this place 1 start because the food was OK. I went here with my 7 year old daughter and ordered enough food for both of us, but shared an entree. Which consisted of an egg skillet and 2 crepes. I also ordered 2 drinks. Well they charged 2 dollars for a “split plate”. The waitress explained that she is obliged to charge the split plate per her boss and that she was sorry. I know it’s only 2 dollars, but everything does add up. There are other nicer and better tasting options in the area.

I came here for the first time with my family. The food was so delicious. My dad loved the meat lovers skillet, I enjoyed the stuffed waffle combo and the iced mocha was delicious!! My husband, kids and mom all enjoyed their food as well. This is a great place to have breakfast/lunch! We will definitely be back.

Good food, nice atmosphere. Not cheap but really good food. Awesome experience with the staff. Reminds me of what Buttermilk in Geneva used to be like until they dropped in service. Wait times are fantastic due to being off the Beaton path. Worth going for a good breakfast

This breakfast restaurant isn't too bad, however I was expecting a bit more. First, the restaurant is nice and clean, and the staff were very attentive. The coffee was hot and fresh. But the food, while good, was all basic staples of any breakfast restaurant. I was hoping for a little more than just some leaves, cut avacado, pepper and eggs on my avacado toast. Maybe more seasoning and mixed/mashed avacado. Instead the avacado wasn't fully ripened, which for some makes it hard to eat. I'm not saying it was horrible, but it's something I could make right at home. My friend had some french toast, and based on the presentation it was very basic and nothing to write home about. I'd say if you are looking for a decent priced quick breakfast, this isn't a bad place to go. But if you are looking for a huge and exciting breakfast that takes your breath away, I'd try another place.

Me and my girlfriend we're excited to try a new restaurant in the area and were recommended Eggceptional Cafe. We arrived and we're seated right away. Here's the downside of our experience. We weren't asked for drinks until 10 min later. Afterward we had to wait for our food for over 30 min!! which was only 2 Eggs and bacon/ potatoes bites and a croissant with a side of potatoes bites only for the eggs to not be fully cooked, watery and served potatoes bites that weren't seasoned like advertised . The server never came to check on us until we complained to speak with the manager. Other guests arrived and were served faster than me and my girlfriend. I spoke with the manager about our bad experience and knocked out $11 out our bill. DO NOT COME HERE. It's a waste of TIME! I recommend going to Georgia's Restaurant & Pancake house in Algonquin or Tony's Cafe in Crystal lake.

This was a disappointing experience. We arrived and waited 10 minutes to be seated. We were told by a greeter that she would look for an available table. A quick view of the restaurant showed 7 tables clean and available so not sure why it would take so long to find an available table for 2 people. Once we sat down, our server came over and we ordered drinks. After the drinks arrived, we never saw our server again. We clocked the time gap at 25 minutes. By this time we were annoyed and got up to leave. As soon as I stood up, a group of servers quickly approached me and asked me if I was leaving. They identified who our server was, apologized for the inconvenience, and offered to immediately take our order so we would not have to wait any longer. But once I get up from the table, I'm not going back, so I politely told the servers, "no thank you," and said we would dine at another establishment.Unfortunately, this was not the first time we experienced service issues. We had breakfast here a couple of months ago on Father's Day and had the same issues. We ended up staying that time because it was my first time here and I really wanted to eat here for my Father's Day meal. But we always kept the service issues in the back of our minds so, when we returned last weekend for only our second visit, we had to take that into consideration when we finally walked out.The food is average and you cannot even get timely service to place an order to eat the food. It's a small restaurant setting so I don't know why there is so much disorganization. The people are nice; just not very attentive.
