Usually we do take out. The Riverview makes my son's favorite pizza. We always come for the annual corned beef and cabbage. This evening we sat inside and enjoyed the broasted chicken dinner. Very good.
What a shame...it appeared the restaurant was being run by 2 great young ladies...took awhile to get order in, then to get beer nuggets... then to get food..fish and chicken...which was delicious as always, except the runny kids macncheese and very small coleslaw portion. Wanted a 2nd beer, both waitresses promised one..didn't get it. Requested butter for potatoes, never got it, got more tartar sauce eventually. All in all,not bad, but waitresses, appear to need MORE HELP, maybe a hostess or bus boy and one more waitress. They did the best they could, but frustrating having to ask and ask for things and lost a beer sale. I really hate to see Riverview close, we LOVE their food. Management can we improve on this? This wasn't our 1st frustrating experience over the last 2years, surprised you're still in business.Parking: Pretty much open, now that they're not as busy as back in the day.

Worst dinning experience ever. Been going to Riverview since 1979. Waited one hour for beer nuggets. After an hour and ten minutes after ordering food people were leaving and eating that came 20 plus minutes after me and still no food. Asked the bartender / waitress what was going on she blamed the new waitress. Ask when I can get my food she said she doesn’t know and said she only has excuses for us. I can’t wait to go tomorrow and talk to the owners. I own a small business in Algonquin and I will for sure let everyone I know to stop supporting this place.

We had planned to visit a different establishment, but upon recalling a previous positive experience with the pizza here, we decided to stop for a meal. We arrived at 2:00 PM and, after 10 minutes and a brief restroom break, we were surprised to find that we were still not seated, despite there being eight people ahead of us and the restaurant appearing relatively empty. Consequently, we made the decision to dine at an alternative establishment called Big Sammies.

Just picked up a medium meat lovers pizza with mushrooms. It was cooked to perfection It was one of the best pizzas we've had thank you.

The food... not good. Ordered a chicken sandwich and it came with three of the thinnest (all breading) tenders I have ever seen. Ribs, overcooked very dry. Garlic bread was burnt. Fries no seasoning which is okay but could be an improvement. This isn't even an exaggeration. The food came quick, but quality is more important. A meal from Buffalo Wild Wings or even McDonald's would be better than the food we got tonight. Beware if eating here.
