The food is great and the service is very good. The restaurant has a large variety in their menu. I would recommend this restaurant if your looking for genuine Mexican food .

I placed an order to be delivered and I must say the food was superb. It was delivered hot, the caldo de res was extremely flavorful, well prepared, authentic and separated appropriately for delivery so that it could be combined fresh upon delivery. We also had the enchiladas suizas which was a very good sized portion. This restaurant knows what they are doing. This was my first time trying El Coyote but I am definitely returning and I highly recommend. I took a chance since I wasn't feeling well and needed a good soup. This restaurant and it's food did not disappoint.

Al pastor burrito. These burritos are huge and there's homemade salsas for free at the salsa bar. Great friendly staff as well

I visited this establishment at the farmer’s market located on 88th & Kedzie Ave which is held every Thursday. A co-worker and I decided to stop by and we bought tacos that day. From the time that we approached the restaurant trailer, the worker had a very nasty attitude in her tone and disposition. I watched her as she prepared our food and I didn’t like how the food truck looked and wanted to say “that’s okay!”, but my co-worker was buying and she said it was okay. Once I made it home to eat my tacos, immediately, just DISGUSTING! No flavor and the chicken was dryer than a desert. No seasoning, bland as ever, just atrocious and should not be in business. I will never patronize this establishment again!!!

Came here for dinner and was greeted with friendly service, my boyfriend is African American and he did not experience any sort of racism like one reviewer claimed. The other African American couple was greeted in the same friendly manner so if I were to guess no one there is racist. Just because you came late and we're told no doesn't mean you have to claim racism. The food was good, place was cute one star taken off cause it was a little bit dirty and could use a sweep and a table wipe. But rest assured you will get good food at a reasonable price and not be subjugated to racism.
My boyfriend and I went to this place for the first time yesterday. The food was very good, I recommend the carne asada dinner. I really like how this restaurant looks. It’s very clean and it’s beautiful. You can also sit outside, they have tables. We got a lot of food so it’s good for the price. The people were friendly and we will be coming back

Customer service means nothing to them. They are the ones who will mess up your order completely but do nothing to make it right and then blame the customer. Also, when I walked in, the girl was too busy watching the soccer game and couldn’t focus on doing her job accurately. Which makes sense why she didn’t get the order correct on the phone. Didn’t even repeat the order back to make sure it was correct and then rushed off the phone. Lazy employees

The staff is indeed racist and as a result I will be filing a complaint with the U.S. Department of Justice-Civil Rights Division. I am an African American Woman. I entered this restaurant on 7-27-23 at around 9:20. They don't close until 10pm. The minute that I walked in the cashier stated that myself and another guy (white guy)had to order our food to go the minute we walked in, there is no signage that suggest that this is what we have to do. She said that the lobby was closed, I found that strange because I had visited the restaurant before I was permitted to sit down and eat after 9pm. I ordered my food. As I waited for my food they laughed to each other about what had just happened. Before I left I asked if that was how things went with the lobby being closed, she said the lobby is closed at 9pm I made sure to mention that I had eaten at the restaurant after 9pm before and it was never mentioned that I could not . So I took my food and ate it in the car in the parking lot. At about 9:40 I attempted to order more food and at that time I was told that the cook had cleaned the grill with chemicals and that they could not fix me anymore food so I walked out and sat in my car because a man who was Hispanic like them had pulled up and went in to order. I watched from my car as he ordered, paid and waited for his food to be cooked. He then walked out with food after I was told that they could not make me any food. This is a perfect example of discrimination based on race. People fought hard for us to have equality and that's why there are laws in place to stop this type of behavior. It is unacceptable and I will take the steps to make sure that no one else has to write reviews like this on or the other ones that I have read the are echoing the same sentiments. No one deserves this type of treatment.
