I usually support local and small businesses I often refuse to comment if Im not happy with my order. But unfortunately I can’t skip this. Ordered a Savory crepe with spinach and feta only. The actual crepe was sweet and there was a small amount of feta.I paid 20 bucks total with tips included.Which I believe is a big scam.Never again. Can’t support a bad quality food for a 20 dollars breakfast. Sorry my greek friend.

4/16/24 I hadn't been here since Covid. I decided to met a friend here for breakfast, I was truly disappointed ?. The food portions were very small, in the past I could never eat all my food and took it home. I ate all my food but left there still hungry. The food was good. My eggs and pancakes were much smaller. I will give them another try to see if it gets any better. Stay tuned ?.

I don't mind spending $15.99 on a gourmet burger . There is nothing special about what my wife and I were served . She received a small amount of waffle fries by mistake and the waitress took her plate back to change it to regular fries . She had already started the burger so it feels odd to walk around with her food . When the plate was put back in front of her there was the smallest portion of fries I have ever seen served . The bill came with a surprise error of a $20 over charge . Not for unordered items , just numbers that didn't add up . After showing the mistake I received a new bill . Same items at a lower price . How does that happen ? The place looks old and grungy . Looks like it never changed from when the doors first opened.

The food was terrible. The pancakes were rubbery, the eggs were dry, the waitress was very nice and polite. The guy at the front was rude and inconsiderate. They seated the blacks on one side of the restaurant.I will not be coming back to this location.The only good thing was the coffee and the waitress.

I can honestly say I've been to Golden Bear in Lansing IL is totally different from this one. This location is unfriendly... the older gentleman at the front of the store made me feel like a criminal for picking up my own food.. I had to provide my ID along with the email and the order. I don't use my first name just my initials, because people have a way of butchering it. However after all of that , food order was cold... I would never return here.
Our family loves this place! Always a great welcoming place to have breakfast. The food comes out perfect and so fast. I can't say enough wonderful things about this small cozy diner. The waitresses are warm and accomodating. Always a great experience!

Lmao to be seated by an old man who doesn't smile and looks angry to paying $50 for eggs and sausage is so egregious not even worth the visit. Dry food too.

We ate here with a group of 12 people. They were unable to split our bills by family which is fine. We can settle it ourselves. But when the bill came, it was our handwritten order and then just a piece of receipt tape with a bunch of numbers. At the bottom, we could see the 10% sales tax and there was a 20% tax which we figured out was the gratuity. (Let me add that several of us have been servers and we absolutely don't mind paying a gratuity. But it would be nice to be told it was added-especially since it appeared on the receipt as a tax). When we started trying to settle our order, we noticed that the prices were not lining up with what was in the menu. I asked why that was and the server told us she charged us $1 more item bc we were a large party. I asked to see where that policy was and her manager threw the receipt at her and told her to take it off. She brought the receipt back and as we went through it, we still found items that we were being overcharged for. There was an item we never received and when we mentioned that, the server told us we should have said something earlier. We should have but we didn't so we asked her to take that off. We also found that we were being charged for multiple items we didn't even order! When everything was said and done, we found that they had tried to overcharge us by more than $60!! Absolutely ridiculous. It makes me wonder how many times a day they do this to people. I want to add that the service wasn't great but it wasn't horrible. She didn't even bother to get us drinks. She handed us a stack of cups and pitcher and just had us do our own. The food was also okay but not great. Overall incredibly disappointing. We won't be back.

The food was delicious and service was quick! I had the Mexico skillet and it was flavorful. Got the pancakes but wish I had the French Toast opyion, pancakes were too fluffy for me. My son said the hot chocolate was creamy and wanted to order a refill . He had just the French toast and devoured it! We will be back to see Tom
