I highly recommend ordering for a catered event or just having lunch or dinner at this fantastic BBQ and soul food restaurant in the Mineral Springs Mall in beautiful downtown Alton, Illinois.

I cannot praise the facility enough. everything went beautifully, everyone was helpful & friendly. Brenda was a godsend, she is awesome to work with! I highly recommend The Woodlands for any event.

Today is opening day for this family owned business and the food is spectacular! I had the brat, which was cooked perfectly. All kinds if goodness burst forth when that thing was slathered in BBQ sauce.... wow! And the red beans and rice are simply the best I have ever tried. If you in Alton, give this brand new restaurant a try... located in the haunted Mineral Springs hotel!
