It seems Alton High is assigning students in detention to work shifts at Jimmy John's.

Great service makes all the difference. We just went through the Alton store and ordered two sandwiches. We only realized they weren't made correctly after we drove away. We went back and took our sandwiches inside to tell them. The manager was so sweet. They apologized for the mistake, immediately made it right for both sandwiches, and offered cookies, too. Mistakes happen, but it's how we deal with them that shows our character. We will be returning!

I'm sorry back with another review, but this one is for workers beware. So if you go and decide to work at the Alton IL location just beware that if you work they will refuse to pay you. I worked over a month there and still haven't received my checks. Went in today and had to have someone by me just to make sure they watched so they were a witness to what was going. They didn't Pay me and expected me to work FREE after I'm a hard worker and come in and bust my ass for a company to not pay me then when I called corporate they pretty much refused to do anything and her excuse was that oh they're a different franchise than there's and I told idgaf because if one person is under your name such as jimmy johns it makes your whole company look bad and I straight said that to her on the phone and she tried to say I'm accurately wrong. No your wrong because all it takes is one bad review to show how bad your company is and how you treat guest and customers. Yes they have great sandwiches, but just because it's good food doesn't mean it's a good environment and if you have kids watch out because they have no manners. So if you want your kids to get disrespected from those type of workers be my guest, but good work jimmy johns you really take care of your customers. It only shows that you say fuck customers and just do the job. That's not a professional outlook for your business. Hope this review reaches out to people and they actually see how this jimmy johns is handling people because I think I'm gonna have to sue or call labor board just to make sure I get paid because these trashy workers can't do the job themselves apparently

Super clean place. Great fast subs. Jared was running a one man show and absolutely crushing it. Absolute pro. I’d hire that guy in a second

Horrible experience with DoorDash. They called and said they had a flat tire….They have other vehicles. It was the end of their night when the order was placed. Pretty simple as to why that story was made up.Order couldn’t redeem money back given that JJs and DoorDash work separately. The manager said that’s no way to talk when I said something should be done about it to get the food delivered. He said that’s no way to talk to someone and hung up on me. I called 4 times in a row after that. No answer.Despicable customer service. You should be embarrassed about how your own manager presents you. You have a flat tire? Okay. It happens. Yet when a customer is scared about their money and trying to ask if there’s any other possible way to get the food that’s paid for and they get hung up? How embarrassing. I’ll never order from them again. Ever. I’m only one person and they’ll do just fine, but I hope they understand how embarrassing they look to represent this place in Alton.Oh and I’d love to see the flat tire.Thanks.

I am never in the mood for Jimmy John's. They don't even offer for your sandwich to be toasted. However, every so often I decide to try them again after years of not eating there. And yes they are still 99% bread.Vegetarian options: Yup. You can get an all veggie sandwich.Kid-friendliness: Not really kid friendly, but they try.Parking: Tiniest lot ever. Always seems like your a sneeze away from a fender bender.Wheelchair accessibility: Their handicapped spaces are so far from the door that they might as well not have them at all.Dietary restrictions: I'm not sure what diet would allow you to eat all of this.
