Lovin Oven Cakery has been one of my favorite bakeries to visit and go to place for pastries and cakes. I haven’t been here for a while and thought I would stop by for a birthday. I waited about five minutes to even be helped. However, I didn’t mind waiting to be helped it was that fact there were five Lovin Oven associates behind the counter. Not one greeted me. I was the only customer there. One lady did greet me as I walked in - she was tending to the planters outside. Then I looked at the prices. I used to be able to purchase a cake slice for $2.50 to $3.50. They want $5.00 for one cake slice. I said forget it. Then I thought maybe I could get a whole cake. All they had had yellow cake and a handful of chocolate cakes. All had buttercream without any special fillings. If I wanted something like raspberry filling or chocolate it was special order. I have purchased cakes here before. They could have had a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting with his ganache icing. I was unhappy and walked out. On my way home I bought ingredients to make my own homemade cake with my own homemade frosting. It was delicious, cheaper, and better than any choice I was left with at Lovin Oven.

We have used Lovin Oven for many many years and have spent thousands of dollars with this company. To say how disappointed I am is an understatement. We were starting to figure out a cake to make for my daughter's first birthday and all people involved knew we were ordering a cake. They quoted us on 2 different styles and we still needed to pick flavoring, but at noon of the same day of discussion, we were told to decide by 1 pm via email. After seeing and replying to the email at 130, they told us the decorator is gone and they can no longer make it because the decorator wanted to know what she was coming into the next day. Completely not accommodating and will never recommend to anyone else. This will be the last time our family uses Lovin Oven. This may not affect the business in the short run but treating valuable customers like this in the long run will.

Beware!!! When ordering cupcakes, you don't get a lot of cake..you get more frosting and filling than cake. They should rename their product as "cup of frosting & filling"If we had wanted a filled cupcake, we would have purchased "twinkies"Very disappointed, we ordered for a birthday party, didn't go over well. About 8 of them went in the garbage!!!

This bakery has really good product. But every time I interact with an employee, they have an awful attitude. I don’t know much about cakes, but instead of recommending something or explaining different options, I’m met with “I don't know what you want or mean..” and this isn’t the first time they’ve treated me with a standoffish attitude like asking questions is a bother to them. It has made me chose to go elsewhere. I get being busy, I’m a F&B Manager, but I don’t speak to people like they speak to me even when I’m busy. Especially when I’m nothing but nice and mean well and genuinely curious and asking questions. Instead of recommending and making me knowledgeable on what they have, their attitude has pushed a customer away.

They have a number system but they don’t use it…instead a man cuts in front of six of us in line and when the lady in front of me complains she is just told “sorry” and they continue to help the man. Then I talk to an olderMan behind counter who is a manager and he says “imagine if the man had the guts to cut in front of everyone if we don’t serve him then he is capable of much more”…lol…. So man gets served right away and we are left to sit and wait. Unbelievable. Going to Little Bean instead.

Love this place. Although the menu for breakfast/lunch is limited, it is still good and is priced right. The coffee is great. It is the pastries that will blow your mind and taste buds, omg. You must come to the "Lovin Oven and Cakery" and grab a coffee and a pastry at minimum. You will not be disappointed. They also do wedding cakes, and have a wedding department, as you can see in the photos.
Last order I was missing items in the box and what was in the box was packed together and smashed. I’m disappointed because the products look and taste good and I wanted a nice display of treats for Christmas.
