This place is fantastic! We have been wanting to try it out since they opened and finally got the chance. We had a hiccup on the online order going through but Colleen took care of it right away and was very apologetic. Service is outstanding and food was incredible. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend anyone thinking of going to definitely go!

We have just discovered the place and love it. A little upscale in the heart of Antioch. Small Space but comfy. The owner David is a great chef and they have a huge menu. Some evenings David plays keyboard and sings. He is an artist on many levels. Wait staff is nice and attentive. Definitely a must try.

I have been following David Maish for years. I have his Soup cook book. He is a wonderful guy and Chef. On holidays it is a joy to go. He even participates in the live entertainment. A must go

Are you kidding me that this restaurant is in Antioch Illoinois????? The Chef David walks around between cooking and talks to everyone. They accommodate requests. The food is phenomenal. If you haven't tried it..do it soon. 5 stars all the way.

Surf and turf special was amazing. The scallops were perfectly cooked and our rare center cut filets melted in our mouth. Amazing!!!

We recently moved into the area and were looking for a place close by. David's happened to be the closest with good reviews. The food was great, everybody was very welcoming, serve was outstanding and having Dave singing was an unexpected nice treat. We are definitely add this to our favorite places list.

What a gem!!!! Excellent food and service. Great ambiance. Quaint and intimate. Pasta was excellent. Scallop martini appetizer is a must try. Drinks were yummy too. Definitely a place to return to on our next visit.

If ten stars was available, that's what I would give! Absolutely outstanding! Such a great place. We enjoyed everything! Very reasonable pricing, excellent menu with so many choices, large portions, very reasonable prices, comfortable atmosphere, friendly staff, and the Chef/owner David personally came to tables to check on our meals. To top things off David came out twice and entertained the house with his lovely singing and playing of the keyboard and guitar. We came from about 35 minutes away, and it was certainly worth the drive! We will be back. No disappointments at this gem of Antioch! I'll be looking forward to signing up for a cooking class or two in the near future!

Really good meal last night at David's Bistro. Started out with the Crab Cakes and Bruschetta. Crab cakes were loaded with fresh crab meat. The Bruschetta was just OK - average at best. For the entrees we got the Ravioli and Filet Oscar - both were excellent. For dessert we got the Bananas Foster and the Creme Brûlée. Everything was really good, the service was excellent as our server recommended the Filet Oscar and she was spot on everything. Never had to ask for a refill. Also - they pour good drinks here. Order Tanqueray and Tonic and I got what I ordered - not Bombay or Beefeater. Living in the northern burbs, I'm finding you don't have to make the painful drive to Chicago for a stellar meal.

Small quiet restaurant with great food and pleasant service. Menu is creative with interesting twists on old favorites. The pine nut crusted tilapia with mango puree was wonderful.
