“Our family of 4 , 2 adults and 2 young children went for lunch, and we all loved it !!! The service was fantastic, and our server was excellent ! The food was fresh , very tasty and presented very well. I think we were all actually suprised just how much we liked it , it was that good!!!. The salad was one of the best I've ever had , and they offer small and large options for them which is great. The soup was so flavorful and filled with chicken. My husbands wrap was delicious, and the fries were very good as well. We decided to try there banana bread pudding to go and we enjoyed it very much even after warming it up later!! It was a great experience that left us talking about what we will order next time. This is a great spot and we hope it's here to stay !!Kid-friendliness: They offer free kids meals on Tuesdays with the purchase of an adult meal ! “This place is outstanding! The food is great and so are all the people who work there. I have been there when the service is a little slower but the atmosphere and the bartender make the difference. I have eaten there many times for lunch and dinner and it never disappoints, and they do a good takeout too. I regularly go there for lunch with my mom, she loves it! When people come to visit we always go to Oliverii for at least one meal. It is a DO NOT MISS location in this cute town.“
“I recently worked a wedding at Harbor Brewing for an outside caterer and was very impressed with the staff (great bartenders!), facilities, and ambiance. The happy couple and their guests all seemed to have had a wonderful evening and throughly enjoyed the selection of drinks offered by the venue. In talking with the attendees (and from clearing their empty glasses) it was clear they found the quality of that selection far exceeded the run of the mill menu available elsewhere. Moreover, the bartenders did an great job keeping the lines short, the beverages fresh, and although I unfortunately wasn’t able to banter with them myself every guest walked away from their interactions with a smile on their face. The area in which the event took place was both spacious and beautifully decorated/styled. The brewery’s aesthetic is tasteful and the layout allowed for plenty of room for the crowd to dance and mingle. Personally I thought the wall of whiskey barrels was a brilliant addition - wether it was simply meant as storage or a design element chosen specifically for the look it really brought the room together. This may seem like a weird feature to bring up but having worked tons of weddings at dozens of venues over the years I always take note of the restroom accommodations in an event space because as a party progresses underperforming in this arena can create a ton of problems. Here the bathrooms not only fit the theme (extra points for the keg urinals!) but were kept clean and easily accommodated the parties needs. Finally, the venue is located in Lake Villa’s downtown area somewhat near the train station with plenty of parking for guests available on site as well as near by on Cedar street. Finding the building was no trouble at all and leaving when the event was over was hassle free. Altogether Harbor Brewing is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a space to host an event; a beautiful venue with some wonderful staff pouring outstanding beer will make for a night you and your friends won’t soon forget.“
“We stopped at this place for lunch recently. Very good food and fast service. Everything is reasonably priced compared to other hotdog places. Portions are very generous and fries are perfectly crispy. Cheese sauce on side was great and not watery, gyro was perfect and grilled chicken sandwich was very juicy. Would highly recommend it and will definitely be back“
“Good selection of beers as well as some ciders and meads which gives everyone a chance to enjoy something. Food at the Round Lake Beach location is available at the Pizza place in the same plaza who will bring your food to you at the bar. Loved going on DJ Bingo nights, Jesse is the best!! She provides a great welcoming atmosphere and knows how to take care of you. All around great spot to go to.“
“There is a reason the line is always long here, the ice cream is amazing and it is affordable for the whole family. It may take you a few visits to perfect your order, but it is well worth it. I always go for the PB Sundae with chocolate ice cream.“
“I stopped in today by chance, I was hungry and have passed this place several times over the years. This place was amazing. I had a cheeseburger which was delicious. My girlfriend had the Nashville chicken Flatbread which was also delicious. We also had the wonton cheese sticks, they were awesome. Our waitress Makayla was great, very friendly and had great knowledge of the menu items. The bar tender Emily also greeted us and asked how the drinks were. Great place, very clean and welcoming. “I cannot state this with enough enthusiasm. This place is INCREDIBLE. The food is outstanding, unlike any other restaurant in the area. As for this place being RACIST?!? That reviewer either clearly did not go into the restaurant or they just want to cause controversy, as they have people of all races WORKING THERE and the staff is treated very well, like they are all family! That comment is clearly insane and looking for attention. Back to my review. The spaghetti with sausage is so authentic and delicious, the tomato bisque soup is clearly homemade and delicious! The mediteranean salad is mindblowing. This is truly authentic, homemade food and all seasoned PERFECTLY. We are always loyal customers of Lauretta's and will definitely be back!!!“

“Happened to be in Antioch with my daughter and stopped in The Lodge for a late lunch. I had one of the best, if not the best chicken wrap with fries. It was wrapped, then heated on the outside, delicious. My daughter had a grilled cheese with tomato with onion rings, she loved it. We were too full to eat desert, but we took a piece of homemade tiramiso with. It was a slice of heaven. Great service and wonderful food“
