The owner has been a lifelong friend of mine and has supported my art all along...although I am on the east coast, he has posted me in his success stories and he works with me on my art with constructive criticism, suggestions and such...long live the open mic tea...

As a creative type, I was so pleased to find this place in downtown Antioch. They have a full jazz music set-up, sketch books and art supplies. Open Mic nights on Fridays and live music on Saturdays! Great coffee too. Try the ice cream latte. The owner is a pleasure to talk to, he can carry on about anything you like from comic books to music. Put a record on the record player from their collection. Great local place for artists (and their blessed coffee ;-)

Gotta be one of the most awkward experiences. I am pretty sure I ran into the owner and maybe his…parents? I saw other comments about the owner being odd after my experience and trust me none of those other reviews are exaggerated. The owner wanted to argue with me about frivolous things when I had a simple question. If you are compelled to go here, keep yourself at 10 foot distance from the owner and avoid conversation/eye contact. Ladies, don’t go here alone. This guy gives off the worst creeper vibes.

We dropped in Friday afternoon with our son and his wife from out of town. While our drinks took quite a while to prepare the espressos were excellent! The barista said they mix different coffee beans and roast them there. ☕ Delish! My son and his wife are musicians and really liked the vibe. Ella Fitzgerald was playing, it was enjoyable. My hubby and I want to return for a Saturday night show. ?4 stars because one order was incorrect.

cool enough place. paid 3 dollars for a coke and was not able to settle in and get work done. they did not have the wifi password which is bizarre because the entire family was there.

I stopped here for a cup of coffee on my way home from a long drive. It was the only one open at the time so I was excited to go in and get a pick me up and with COVID hurting businesses I try to do local whenever I can. This was genuinely the worst drink anyone has ever made me. I wanted a coffee, but after he talked and raved about their barrel chai, I figured I would do a dirty chai latte (one of my absolute favorites). He proceeds to make the tea in an infuser that had clearly been used and said "he just cleaned it." He asks if I want my drink a frappe so I'm thinking I'm going to get this delicious whipped spicy latte on a super hot summer day. That is not what I got at all. He hands me a cup of mud water with no ice and then tells me it's $8....$8 for what any other place would be $4-5. I felt like I was in there for all of eternity so I paid and couldn't wait to leave. I took a sip and gagged. It was so disgusting I ended up just tossing it out. I genuinely would leave zero stars if I could because he was also very odd and didn't understand my social cues that I wasn't interested in following this kid on Instagram he was hyping up. I will genuinely never go back there ever again.

SICK SPOT TO PLAY MUSIC! Great venue for young musicians with a lot of space, house drumkit and gear, and a really nice cafe! Alex the owner is a really cool guy, very covid-conscious, and a great player on the keys! Makes great coffee too! Had a blast jamming and hanging out here, can't wait to come back and hope local bands and musicians will take advantage of it!
