Terribly disappointed in the Pasta e fagioli soup. The recipe must have changed because it was not thick or rich with very few beans. It was awful and the meatball sandwich was dry and without zest! Probably will come back and try the pizza!

Went to friends house in Arlington Heights we all decided to order Armand’s - 1- artichoke-1- grilled Calamari-1-dozen clams 1- meatball/ricotta - 1- chicken vesuvio .$85.00 - 4 peopleGrilled calamari was very goodClams very goodArtichoke Very goodChicken Vesuvio $ 24.00 - 2 small potatoes and one small thin chicken breast that tasted like rubber , the meatballs we so hard and not flavorful-But the chicken vesuvio tasted like a pine tree and it was nasty - for 24.00 that’s insane for that little amountThe artichoke , clams , calamari tasted like the old Armand’s in Elmwood Park - that’s where 3 of us are from - and we always went there - stick to appetizers! Especially those 3

After I visited last weekend all can I say is this…Worst place ever! Highly donot recommend!! Awful service, bad food , long wait all the staff are unpleasant and very rude. The only kind people was the bartenders!Do not recommend awful place for downtown of Arlington Heights!!!

Had a great experience with Cory as our server! Drinks were always filled and we were lucky to get focaccia bread before they were all out. Soup tasted fresh. Restaurant was packed but we still felt the service was one of the best we have received prior. Definitely check this place out! Good staple restaurant in Arlington heights.

wonderful food options for all. very friendly staff. only complaint is that at one point it felt like more of a sports bar because the bar area was very busy and loud (but of course the restaurant can’t control the patrons). definitely on the expensive side, but a very nice place!

Lunch was inadequately staffed, the restaurant was cold, and food service was very slow. The soup was hot and tasty. The beef sandwich was bland though the bread was crispy. The chips were plain and a significant number were soggy. Hopefully this was an off day; however, it was disappointing.

Armand's wasn't a disaster but there were some consistent issues throughout. I spoke with Pete, their Manager, and went over what I wanted for a private event (wedding rehersal) and I put down a deposit and paid extra to reserve the room. Leading up to the event I met with him and he initially said he didn't have me listed for a reservation and then realized he was looking at the wrong week. I was then called an hour before my wedding rehearsal to ask what I wanted for the event which through me off because I'd discussed it with Pete. Nevertheless I talked about it with a woman there while in a hurry to get out the door. When we got to the private room, there was no food prepared, no salad or pasta out and nothing like soft drink pitchers to help themselves. It took at least 45 mins to get any food even though it was simply pizza that we already talked about beforehand. They also refused to give us the salad or pasta before the pizza was ready which seemed unnecessary. I later got a lecture on how I should've ordered an appetizer and had to argue with the manager that salad is often served ahead of a meal but I digress. Then the waitress asked what I wanted which just seemed odd since I talked about what we wanted as a party multiple times at that point. The food was ok, not horrible, not great. The biggest issue is when I saw the bill and noticed they gave themselves not only an automatic tip, but an automatic tip above 20% which was a bit concerning because the service was not good. I don't think it was the server's fault as much as the lack of organization/preparation as a whole. I spoke to Pete, the manager, about how they made a mistake and gave themselves more than 20% for the tip and had to walk him through the math and eventually he said his Point of Sale system calculated it wrong so I just asked to get the $20+ they overcharged me in tip money to make it right and he agreed. He then never did refund the extra money. He continues to seemingly be ok overcharging people that book a room (as I pointed out the error in that the tip is adding the deposit money back into the total even though it was already part of it and inflating the total to calc the tip off of) and then he explained that I couldn't find a cheaper deal on a Friday anyway as opposed to rectifying the mistake. That's probably my biggest issue with this place. It seemed borderline unethical to do this to people who aren't looking at the bill.

I ate at Armand's for the first time, and what a great experience. I was expecting a standard "pizza joint" but this place is so much more! I had the caesar salad and linguini w/ clams, both of which were outstanding. The service was great as well. I can't wait to go back again!
Nice and sunny outdoor seating. We only had drinks and apps, but they have great deals! Friendly service. The stuffed artichoke app is DELICIOUS. Wish I could eat it every day lol.
