My partner and I stopped in for a quick lunch one day and we were so pleased with our decision. We had been hoping for the famous chicken and wild rice soup but that is served on a different day than we went. We ordered the Nutella and banana French toast and biscuits and gravy. My partner said the biscuits and gravy were by far the best they have ever eaten. The French Toast with Nutella and bananas was also so delicious that I had to steal some extra bites. The service was very laidback and friendly, we felt we had as much time as we needed to relax and enjoy the food. Next time I visit Chicago, I am definitely coming back here!

When I first started eating at Elly's last years, the breakfast food was delicious! There must be a new cook because when I ordered breakfast for pickup and got home to eat it, I was very disappointed because it was awful. The hash browns were hard and greasy as well as the corned beef hash. And their prices has gone up, however they didn't bother to update the menu that's online. I won't be going back there anytime soon.

When my parents lived in Arlington Heights, they would often have breakfast at Elly's. My dad and I were back visiting and stopped by for breakfast. Only a few customers compared with pre pandemic. Food and service was good.

Glad that I finally stopped in for breakfast! Best omelet I've ever had! Light and fluffy and not heavy at all like many other places make them. Hash browns were great and pancakes were delicious. The bacon, onion, avocado omelet really was the star for me! Extremely friendly staff! I will definitely be back!Don't let the outside of the place deter you as it did me.

Very nice local breakfast place chain. The brioche french toast was very tasty. Coffee cups were a little small though, but service to refill was good.

Very tasty. The pancakes are fluffy and tasty, the omelet used chunks of ham-off-the bone, and the corned beef hash was homemade. Quick, professional service.

We discovered this place while visiting from California . The food is great, the staff are wonderful. If you get the German pancake or Dutch baby, just know it's about 30 minutes to cook. Worth the wait though!

the outside of the building is falling apart. The mall they are in is abandoned. Demolition time

Terrible service from start to finish. No greeting upon entry, service rushed us to order, was served steak on a bowl of juice. I had to ask for the server to pour it out. While ordering the steak, she told me how much it was as if I wasn’t able to afford it. Food wasn’t seasoned. Absolutely no flavor. Employees staring the entire time I was here. It just wasn’t an enjoyable time.

Our favorite breakfast spot! Great food, friendly staff, fast service. The cream of chicken and rice soup on Sundays is the BEST!

It's not like the Elly's by home. No specialty coffees or fresh squeezed juice options. The pancakes needed more syrup than expected. The omlettes were yummy and fulfilling.
