Absolutely gross. I felt sick after eating here. The service was awful too. Servers made no eye contact, talked very softly and barely came to ask us if we needed anything. Not comin

I go here everytime. Got the curry laksa, nasi lemak and roti canai. It's delicious. Service was pretty fast, ambience is relaxing. Indeed, transports you to Penang.

LOVE LOVE LOVE all their dishes!! Always enjoyEd their satays, roti canai and yam pot. Great place to bring friends and family to savor delicious food. Serving time may be a bit slow but their offerings are worth waiting and worth the drive. They even have Thai entrees and tiramisu desserts.

Disappointed with their attitude. We drove all the way 14 miles to have food there but they closed it for a private party. Restaurants cant just close down due to private parties. The should reserve few tables for diners.

Well it's been since 2019 before covid when I went to this restaurant with my friend who treated me last time but food was uniquely good I had a craving for Indonesian Malaysian cuisine I haven't had it for a while compared to all the other Asian cuisines. So this is a return eating Malaysian food. My food for the most part is still delicious especially I haven't had nasi goreng and gado gado. That is Malaysian or Indonesian fried rice Indonesian salad that they use a lot of peanuts and Curry which is uniquely delicious. They had a bigger party that day and at least the waitress gave fair warning about that it was going to be a little longer to prepare the food but we were seated right away in regards to service and they were actually worth that bad in the wait time not like an hour or anything like that. Ambience for the most part has that the Malaysian experience so I wouldn't complain so much. Other than that a perfect five stars do come over here it's still operating the same even after covid. They used to have Penang in Chicago in Old Chinatown by cermak and Wentworth but it burnt down that building and they never decided to open it again back in the late 90s

Fantastic Nasi Goreng and Curry Laksa! The flavor and textural contrast made for an incredible meal, and the serving sizes are great value for the price. I was particularly impressed with the knife work of the ingredients and the juicy plumpness of the shrimps. The restaurant interior is beautiful and makes for a good date night location.

We tried the Malaysian options on the menu which were really yummy. We were here around 3:30 on a Sunday, so it was pretty empty. The place was understaffed, so did have to wait to get seated and saw dirty plates sitting around. So there was an aspect of feeling the place was dirty, but the Malaysian chicken/potato curry and the Nasi Lemak made the experience. We also tried the satay chicken, but wouldn’t recommend as the chicken had a weird texture to it.
