Went here the first week it opened years ago, great place and food. I went in today and the front is updated which looks great with good seating. Food was great and the customer service was outstanding.

Ribs were too salty. Barely smoked. And had cartilage that was in the meat. These were definitely NOT babyback ribs! Pork loin.Mac and cheese tasted like from the box and was pretty liquidity.Brisket tasted good. They charge you for BBQ sauce?? unlike other BBQ places. $50 bucks later, def not worth it. Big Anges is waaaayyyy better!

We had high hopes for this place. The excitement level was high for good BBQ. The look of the place is fun and fitting a BBQ place. Unfortunately, I have to be honest. All we ordered was a let down except the Hush Puppies are good. All the meat, Ribs & Chicken, was very dry. Cole Slaw was just White Cabbage & Mayo, Corn Bread was very dense, heavy and wasn't good. We left hungry and threw it all away. We were very sad to have left that disappointed & won't be back.We ordered: 2 Rib & Chicken Combo's, One Sweet, One Spicy 24.99 + tax each. We Added on sides to try for an extra cost: 1 Cole Slaw, 1 Porky Beans & 2 Brown Butter Corn Bread & Hush Puppies.

The food is a 4.75- OK it’s pretty much a 5. My pastrami sandwich - excellent, the rib tips, a little tough, the sauce is great. The loaded Mac & Cheese? Best item I’ve had so far. Absolutely delicious, creamy, mixed in with their bbq sauces and your choice of meat. I chose pulled pork! Ate my takeout order for breakfast! The cornbread, a little pricy, but a lot of buttery flavor packed into that little muffin. I recommend crumbling it up & putting it in the loaded Mac & Cheese, along with the Sweet Bbq & Carolina Gold. They also sell the best cream soda there! My wife loved everything & the charged lemonade. The parking can be rough since it is in downtown Arlington Heights. I recommend going early. Everyone there super nice. Also an old school VHS & TV while waiting on food. Their ribs I have not tried yet. I hope they fall right off the bone, but everything is solid!

My daughter and I traveled from DC to Chicago for a cheerleading competition. We decided to try Porky's... I am not making this up, hands down the best BBQ I've had in years. The combo sandwich with brisket and pork, is phenomenal. The Porkys Beans with brisket, left me speechless. Outstanding customer service to go along with the great taste. Honestly wish I lived in the area, so I could eat here more often.

I really wanted to like Porky's. I swear, I really did. But, I found that what I ordered was mostly.....meh. Let's start with the brown butter corn bread. I love brown butter anything; the nuttiness, the richness. However, I found too many things not appealing about this cornbread, first off, the size to price ratio. The cornbread is the size of a min-muffin for $2.50, which, IMHO is far too pricey. But, most importantly the taste -- there's not so much a hint of brown butter as there is an overwhelming flavor of old pan grease; totally unappealing. I was going to re-heat it in the microwave, but after two quick bites, I just gave up. Pass on the cornbread.Next, the braised collard greens, which are probably in the top 2 of all sides that go with BBQ. Now, truth be told, I did see that they are braised with green apples, which should've been a red flag for me. And red flag it was -- far too sweet, without a hint of pork or other savoriness. The apple cider vinegar barely came through, and that should've saved these poor guys from the bin. I had a bite, then pitched it in the bin along with the corn bread. Pass on the collards. Now onto the meat - I got a order of ribs and an order of rib tips. First, the ribs -- smoky, meaty, with the chew of a St. Louis style spare rib; these are not baby-back ribs, and if what you're looking for is "fall off the bone tender", these are not it. The smoke really came through, and overall it was nicely done. Note - what is pictured on the web site and what you'll get are two completely different looking things; caveat emptor. 6 out of 10 I would order again, perhaps earlier in the day when they're first out of the smoker. Second, the rib tips -- also smoky, mostly meaty, with quite a bit of fat. Good flavor, but, the prominent fat that was hidden throughout was a bit of a turn off. If you're expecting rib tips like they serve at Lem's or Honey 1 or any of the South Side aquarium smokers, these will disappoint. Much better sauced up and heated, but, I doubt that I'll order these again. The star of this meal were the sauces. Porky's sauces are really very good. I especially like the Spicy BBQ Sauce, but that Carolina Gold is a very close runner up. I'd buy just the sauce - it's a good quality, high flavor value, and it's house-made, which gives it that edge.Overall, 3 out of 5 stars for the reasons I've stated above. I'm sorry Porky's, I really, really wanted to like you, as supporting the local restaurants is a passion project for me. I did try you once. But, unfortunately, probably not again. I may be in for a bottle of sauce, though.

There is a spice in the rub that was a bit overwhelming. Fries were good as well as the brown butter biscuit.

Ordered food for Super Bowl! Burnt ends and brisket only! The burnt ends were awesome but the brisket was extremely chewy, several pieces in the 1.5lbs I ordered were not edible due to the texture. Literally like chewing gum not melting in your mouth fatty goodness. Bad cut of meat or something. Never had this problem from here. Just sucks because when you spend good money you expect to get good quality like you have always provided. I’m assuming this was just some bad cut, but you can tell when you slice it, so why would you serve that. Shame

I ordered some food on 2/5/24 online… they ran out of cheese curds. They called me to let me know and I chose Mac n cheese balls in its place. Then I pick up my food… they forget the hush puppies sauce. ??‍♀️ Strike two! I called that Sunday, the guy was very nice and offered to credit me a couple items back to my card. A week later and that never happened. I called and spoke to the owner… rude guy, I explained what happened and all he offered me was some free hush puppies. ? I explained the other gentleman offered to credit me a few things off my order. He said… well I can’t do that. All I can give you is some free hush puppies. Really!!??!! After a week later and their hush puppies weren’t even any good. So I said… no thanks, told him I’d place a review of my experience and hung up. So here we are. Food is mediocre and the owner is rude and cheap. So it’s safe to say… I will never order from here again.
