This is one of the best Chinese places I’ve ever been to. Always consistent and the servers are always so friendly as well as the owner. I will continue to come back here. Love it here

Food used to be really good before pandemic. Everything changed lately. They raised price too much and smaller portion. Ok service.

First time visit for husband and I to Yen Yen on recommendation of friend. Our favorite Chinese restaurant here in Des Plaines closed last year and we are looking for new favorite place. Yen Yen will definitely be our place to go., We went at lunch time. The menu is extensive, but we ordered our usual favorites of Sweet Sour Chicken and Beef Chop Suey. Both dishes were absolutely delicious, with all the ingredients we love. Our server was friendly and helpful in navigating the menu pages. The seating area is pleasant. Everyone was extremely welcoming when we entered and also attentive when we left. We will certainly return, and with our family members also.

Ordered chow mein and it was just vegetables and 3 pieces of shrimp. Also ordered crab rangoons and I opened it up and it was shrimp. Not worth it, find somewhere better.

Yen Yen is always good. I am only giving it 4 ⭐️ because they no longer issue coupons. It can be a little pricey, but it is always good and nice portions with plenty for leftovers.

The new chef is great. The egg rolls are so crispy and tasty. I think they have a hint of peanut butter. We tried the new bean and scallion noodles (no meat) and they were delicious.

The best Chinese dishes around here. It is a little drive for me, but do well worth it.

I ordered Mongolian beef and noodles with white rice, the food was incredibly delicious and the veggies were fresh. Definitely a place to return to when I'm in Chicago.

Chinese restaurants are all about the same. Same oily greasy feeling in the air from the frying. Same "friendly" people at the counter. Prices are high everywhere now. My beef and peapods were good, but the pods were frozen. I remember when Chinese restaurants had fresh peapods that would snap when you chewed them. I wish the egg rolls were bigger too.
