“This place has been here forever, and there's a reason for that. It's got decent food and prices. It's hard not to stop in for a bite to eat when back in the area. That leaves other places unexplored, but it's like going to a restaurant and always getting your favorite dish and not trying other things.The Double Breaded CheeseBurger is the cult classic here. You just can't find them anywhere else. I like the liver and onions, and the fried chicken is wonderful. I'm not a fan of coated fries, but everything else I've had here over the years has been wonderful. I wish there were more places like Ziggie's.”

“Without thinking, we visited during their Easter Brunch and were told the buffet was our only choice. However, upon asking about vegan options on the buffet, they offered to make us something with one of their plant based protein options.The food was delicious and very flavorful with a unique, somewhat zesty taste. Additionally, the entire staff was friendly and very attentive.”

“This is a very warm and inviting neighborhood bar atmosphere. We had the pork tenderloin sandwich and the bourbon burger and both were cooked to perfection. Very generous portions with french fries. You will not leave hungry we will be back.”

“Wife and I had breakfast there Sunday April 14,2024. I ordered standard two eggs sausage and hash browns. Everything was cooked to my request but the hash browns of all things stood out. I mentioned this to the waitress and she remarked that at this restaurant the potato’s are all fresh. They DO NOT use frozen potato,s in the preparation of their version of hash browns. Well let me tell you one can taste the difference. Restaurant is clean and decorative -service was excellent and prices were very very reasonable”

“Great food, service and a true Gem in downtown Mendota, only downfall was did not see much for mushrooms! They do offer deserts on the buffet, and bill was 13.50 with drink. Also to note was the decor is nice. Will definitely come back.”

“Linda really knows what she is doing! We tasted some of her yummy creations at a bridal expo and we were sold instantly. We had her do our wedding cake and whole dessert table at the wedding. Every one loved it. We would definitely recommend her a thousand times again.”

“For longest time my wife would pick on me whenever she suggested Starbucks because my usual response was "I can't drink caffeine!" With hard work and determination (and a little help from the variety of cold brews) in proud to say that I'm hooked. This location that I frequent the most is great! One of the employees Nick takes it upon himself to get to know the customers and always has a friendly conversation ready to go while you wait for your drink. Great location. Great employees. Great service. I'll be back!!!”
