Service really slow and disorganized. Either extreme hotness or 0 flavor at all. Would never go back here. I dont know what they consider a portion of veggies to go with this but 1 bite dint count. GROSS.. SORRY!

My daughter saw this experience and wanted to try it. So we took an hour drive. When we arrived the host did ask us if we wanted al la Carte or all you can eat. I let him know we had never been to a place like this before. So he quickly gave us a ton of information. He was pleasant and kind at that time, I will say that.We got sat and looked over both menus. And decided to do the AYCE. We were not aware though that you get portions for each member of your party (which doesnt seem like a bad thing, that will come into play later), or that you could order again. So my party of 4 ordered the proteins we each liked, and veggies we each individually liked. Thinking you just make your own little meal. For instance, a member of my party only likes chicken, another only likes beef. Neither are going to eat one or the other of the choices picked by the other person. We didn't fully understand you get those servings for each person on your party. We did understand if one person wants to do AYCE then that's what you get. So we picked things we would like to try, by our own taste.Here is where my MAJOR issue was. We were a bit rushing because of tornado sirens sounding for 20 minutes and bad weather this evening. We would be driving into to it get back home. I asked for the bill and got attitude. I was scolded like a child for wasting cabbage and Bok Choy, loudly with other customers around, and the plate put up in front of my face, saying how now it would be thrown in the trash. I was told the establishment usually charges for that. At that point it made me feel humliated and upset, I told the host to go ahead and charge me for our waste. I was fine with it.He said no, it's our first time but next time he will. I told him again, charge me for the waste. He said he wouldn't because we obviously didn't understand the portion sizes and it wouldn't be fair. My bill was dang near $150 and still I'm ok with paying for our waste.We didn't order out of being wasteful or greedy. Just out of a new experience, out of our own individual tastes and I guess not fully understanding how it worked. We did have a great time trying something new, but that part.....really turned me off amd ruinedthe experience. My daughters friend who came with us looked at me after the host did that and asked I'll ever go back, I promptly told her no.I do know now though, should we ever try an establishment like this again, I will ask many more questions. Looking at the reviews, I noticed another restaurant in the area that seems to let you choose how many servings you get for items.

For the same price as its competitors in the area you get a better menu, better utensils, and a rolling cart to store meat and used plates. Great service great food, shoutouts to Quinton the GOAT he said my hair was nice and offered amazing service across the board

Booked a table online for three and when we arrived at the front desk I informed the gentleman at the register and he seemed very flustered. We sat at our table. There was a bottle of hand sanitizer on the table that was very filthy. We sat at our table for 10 minutes no one came to our table. we did not receive any water. The table was not even set. No silver wear, plates, or spoons for hot pot. I pressed the call button and still 5 minutes later no one came. 15 minutes we were sitting with no server seen. We finally did see a server who ignored us while waiting on other tables. Finally, the couple sitting behind us had to tell the waiter to go and wait on us. At that moment we decided to get up and leave. For 27$ a person for the All you can eat the service there was not worth it! I will only be going to Happy lamb from now on.

If you are familiar with Happy Lamb Hot Pot this is a similar experience. Even though Happy Lamb has a slightly nicer atmosphere and all you can eat option, I prefer this experience. You get plenty to eat here even without an all you can eat option. Also, I absolutely love the fried rice here. What I like about the fried rice experience is that you can go to a condiment bar and select condiments for your fried rice including sprouts, green onion, and various sauces. How it works is you get a selection of meat and then they give you different broth selections to cook your meat in. My advice is to try to conserve your broth if possible. Like Happy Lamb they will give you a refill of broth at no charge; however, the broth will be a base broth and it will not contain all the original spices that were in the original selection. If you do have to get more broth though it will still taste good. Enjoy this unique dining experience!

Happy Lamb had a wait so I decided to give this place a try. I'm so happy I did. More broth options--i got the spicy and the curry broths. So delicious.In the meat options, they had a spicy beef option that lived up to it's name! Spicy and delicious. The only things I missed were there corn on the cob and pumpkin options that I'd typically get elsewhere.Service was good not great. Had to ask for water and extra utensils. They rarely came to check up on us.The sauce bar was a nice touch, as well as the ice cream for dessert.

Very disappointing. I was looking forward to the dinner but the service was the worst I have ever experienced. Food was not good. I felt very sorry for the staff as it seemed like they had very little support. It was our first time at a hot pot and our server did not guide us at all. The room we were in was not at all appetizing. They had a remote control for the tv sitting on the table that was visibly filthy. A big pass all around.

50READ BEFORE GOING!! We were a group of 8 and were seated in a small private room. Restaurant not very clean, obvious signs of basic neglect. For example, the robot's shelves that served your food were filthy! Our server looked to be 18-19 and he was casually dressed in hoody and jeans - meaning we had to ask if he was the server. The SERVICE is really lacking. Have never experienced worse. We were given water initially but never offered drinks. No direction about the menu was given and we had to chase the server all night, never checked in on us. The broth was ok, most spicy. When the broth was running low, we alerted the server and he filled with warm water. . Food to dip and cook were ok, nothing special. The beef looked like bacon, not very tasty. The crab was cheap frozen imitation crab meat. The sauces were located by the front door. They needed to be replenished yesterday. The meal sucked really - not worth the cost. We went to pay the bill and $15 was added to our bill due to math error. It was a nightmare. We were then told that our server was day 3 on the job and they are short staffed. The employee at register told us the pay is very poor and turnover high. He said the owner ignores reviews. I hear other restaurants on that corner are great - go there.

The best hotpot soup I've had anywhere in Illinois!! Service was amazing (Quintin was a G) and the price wasn't terrible. The ice cream was basic cup but still good nostalgia. Overall will be coming more often!
Restaurace had great seating. This comfort is for seven people. Each person gets a cooking bowl with hot broth in front of them. Everyone has a hot stove on the table in front of them, on which the broth is constantly heated, so that is stays hot and food that is raw and cook in the bowl can be put into it.When the food runs out, they brings more. Do for one price you keep going round and round, until you’re full.Service very nice, attentive and fast.This is a really good experience for people, who like to consume food.

to start off i walked inside and it was VERY dirty the tables were sticky there was dirty napkins under my table and overall didn't look clean. The food came out the chicken didn't taste like chicken and the "bacon" was fat. Everything tasted artificial and gave me and my boyfriend horrible stomach issues and VERY expensive for not a lot of food and very confusing to order. i wouldnt recommend this place . ?

Delicious, flavorful and unique. I wasn't sure what to expect but the mix of flavors made me extremely impressed. They have great service and even have a robot who brings the food out to you. This is a very nice restaurant for casual dining or a nice dinner.
