I'm from out of town. When I saw the Chicago Tribune wrote about this restaurant not once but twice I had to try it. Am I glad I did. I ordered the baked Spaghetti with meatballs. My co-worker ordered the 10" personal pizza with sausage. The prices feel like pre-inflation prices. Super reasonable, especially once you see the large portions. I could barely finish my delicious spaghetti. It included two perfectly toasted and buttered pieces of garlic bread. My partner loved the pizza and she specifically commented on the flavor of the pizza sauce being amazing. The atmosphere is old school Italian and quaint. The owner was beyond friendly and struck up a nice conversation. I'm in town until Friday and can't wait to go back. 6/5 starsVegetarian options: Pizza with no meat. Whenever I open the door to ach n lous it smells like im 11 years old and we just won our baseball game and we’re celebrating with pizza and pitchers of pop. Not soda. Pop.Also. Get the Italian beef with hot giardiniera with pepperoni. It’s my pharmacy’s go to takeout order for special occasions. Along with the Hawaiian and a bbq chicken za. Place is timeless. Mike is a saint.

The pizza here is awesome! The sauce and cheese on the pizza are outstanding. We had pepperoni and sausage the last visit and again it was awesome.The decor could use some updates but the great food taste outweighs the decor.If you haven't had their pizza make sure you do!
Great pizza. Even better with extra sauce. We especially love the Friday night supreme & the taco pizza.Only downside is that they close from 2:30 to 4.
