Service has always been bad. Then, on St. Patty's, there is a cover charge of $10, but it's a family restaurant. It's so sad that people want us to support small businesses yet, they take advantage of customers. It's so sad to see an older elderly couple go in, and they were charged a cover charge.

Food is delicious and atmosphere is great! If you like irish pubs, this one will not dissapoint. The live bands that come now and then are fun as well!

When I lived closer to the area, I came here semi often with friends or family. It’s located in downtown Aurora, close to the Paramount theater. Parking is very easy, there is a huge parking lot that you can go to after hours. Make sure you read the signs. It was behind a bank, I would walk across the street, turn left and you’re there. They had live music, good food, and the restaurant was spacious. I had the corn beef bites that are worth trying once. Burgers were decent. Service was always good. On St Patrick’s Day, they make decent quality corned beef and cabbage. There’s a location in Downers Grove that is easier for me to get to. I’ll have to check out that location.

I placed a carry out order on this restaurant's website, waited the 30 minutes they instructed (which felt long for a sandwich, but fine), and went to pick it up. After waiting about 5 minutes to be acknowledged (there were only 2 tables seated), I told a gentleman behind the bar that I was picking up a carry out order. "We don't do Uber Eats", he said, and turned his back to me. I explained that I ordered on Ballydoyle's website and had already paid for it. He typed at the register for a while and then told me that the sandwich I ordered was discontinued and that I should cancel the order or "do whatever I needed to do on my end". He seemed to think that was the end of the conversation. I explained that I had already paid, had no option to "cancel" because I placed the order on their website not a 3rd party app, and if he wanted to cancel the order I had waited now 40 minutes for, then he needed to refund me immediately. He gave a long explanation about the menu being changed and how he thought it had been updated on the website (clearly, it hadn't). Finally, he offered to let me order something else. Because a refund was apparently not an option and at this point my dinner break had been shortened to the point where I didn't have time to make another stop, I did. I had to wait an additional 15 minutes for the new order which I didn't even want by then (in total, an hour from when I placed the initial order...of a sandwich). I guess the moral of the story is don't ever place a carry out order from this place. My mistake, when there is an "order online" button on their website. I'm adding a second star only because the food I final received was good. The experience is 0 stars.

Went here before seeing a show at the paramount. Had a great time. Excelenté food, ambience and service. Well decorated for the holidays

Service on a busy Saturday night at the bar was AWESOME! Asked for a cup of coffee at the end and it wasn't even the slightest bit warm. Oh well.

They messed up not 1 but both of my drinks here. I ordered the lemon drop off of their menu and my friend and I got a glass with a salted rim ? ruined the drink, they also forgot the simple syrup in the cocktail so we had to add our own sugar. For $12 it was a very bad drink. Also, I ordered a fuzzy navel, and I got a screwdriver. Do their bartenders have any bartending experience? The soup I had was alright but on the bland side.Waitress was nice though.

We only got a nacho plate and a few beers, but they were all good. Nachos were awesome, lots of content and guacamole looked fresh.

Even though sometimes understaffed, they are as efficient as they can be. Great drinks, fries, corned beef and Reubens! Love to go there before Paramount and Copley shows!

We walked in at noon on a Saturday and couldn't find any employees. Would have loved to have tried this place but it's hard to do with no employees to help you. We waited for about 10 minutes and left.
