We just Love going to "Jake's"! On this visit we chose to get a dozen bagels and their "Olive" cream cheese, as well as a container of plain.We arrived fairly early and surprisingly were 3rd in line. Normally the line is much longer. The staff at "Jake's" is very helpful, patient, and friendly.In my opnion, the size of the bagels are a perfect portion. Not small and Not oversize.My favorite is the sesame bagel, followed by jakes special (everything), and the multi-grain bagel.Our favorite cream cheeses are: vegetable, giardiniera, olive, and plain.In the past we have also enjoyed their huge bagel dogs, cooked at home in our air fryer.The breakfast bagel sandwiches are also enjoyable.$2 Tom
I've been going to Jake's Bagels since they were on Farnsworth and I was a little girl. This little gem looks like it's plucked straight out of a Hallmark movie. Complete with a brick hearth inside (which is wonderful in the winter!) In the summer you can eat outside on their deck overlooking the Fox River. The food is awesome! Their olive cream cheese is Sandwiches are delicious and the soups are so darn scrumptious! There is also a coffee bar. You can't go wrong here. So much to choose from! It's the whole package

EVERYTHING HERE IS AMAZING! Bagels always taste great and are quality. I definitely also recommend getting the scallion cream cheese and the iced coffee. The service and atmosphere here is also always great. Would definitely recommend!
