Main dishes are phenomenal but 1st time ordering crab rangoons and they have way too much onion! It's supposed to be cream cheese and crab flavor. It's not an onion rangoon. Ate 2 and 4 went straight to the garbage.

I come here for my lunch break on occasion and I have never had a bad experience. The food taste good and fresh. The lunch special fills me up with lots to take home. The server I believe his name is John is fantastic and is always very friendly and attentive.

If i could give this place a zero stars i would when i called to order my food to go, the guy was completely rude the whole time over the phone didn’t read back my order and totally rushed it then i get my order and he got the order wrong ! and i was already home and no one wants to drive back to a place because that same place got the order wrong so i call and the guy is rude again and says “okay what do you want me to do about it ?” completely rude and gave no solution. place looks dull and ugly food isn’t all that great id avoid coming to this place.

Service is terrible, food wasn't all that considering the fact it's quite pricy. To top it off, they messed up my order & it was honestly my fault for not checking until I got home. I called to see if there's anything they can do to fix that & the guy that answered was very rude.

I'll start off by saying that the River st. hut is where I've went to for years. I even had a spill in my car and lost all of the gravy from my egg foo young, and the owner gave me a cup of gravy. Unfortunately, Today, I called to add to my order, and specified that the person that asked me to add to my order asked for "A Lot" of sweet sour sauce. They asked me how much. I didn't know, so he said he'd add 10 packs, which I had no problem paying for. $2.30 for 10 packs is what I paid. Specifically asked when I picked up order if my sweet sour was in bag. Assured it was. Drove about 8 miles away. No sauce at all. While my food got cold, I drove to east china hut and asked them for sauce, and got 20 for $1.00. I have a $2.30 credit on River st, even after telling them the extent I had to go to to get what I was assured was in my bag, that I paid extra for. Not even a complimentary couple egg rolls. Just had to share this since I can't enjoy my food. Mistakes happen, but I expected a little more from the only place I've gone for Chinese since 2007. The food is still really exceptional. I just expect more than a My Bad.

Best Chinese food in aurora. I've been going here for years and I've never been disappointed, all the employees are friendly and welcoming. Everyone leaving bad comments are just bitching cuz they don't have money and are broke.

I love Chinese food and decided to switch things up and try someplace new. Unfortunately, I can't say I will be a returning customer at New China Hut. We ordered take-out on a Saturday night. They said it would take 30-40 minutes to be delivered but it didn't come until over an hour later. We ordered the sweet and sour chicken dinner. The chicken was warm and crispy but only came with one tiny container of sweet and sour sauce which was barely enough for half the chicken. It also came with an egg roll and TON of white rice. Half the platter was rice and it came with another small box of rice on the side. The rice was on the dry side too. We also ordered garden fresh vegetables. I can't say they seemed very fresh though. To me, it was equivalent to the bottom of a bag of frozen vegetables that were microwaved a bit too long.
