I think pie boss is one of the best restaurant of all time. If you don't like spicy you should get the chicken or pepper steak. If you like spicy I suggest spicy chicken.

The food is amazing and you could even take some home and make it there. The service is good for one person. And the inside is a little dirty but not that dirty.

Highly recommend the Pie Boss. Great pies - all of them, you can't go wrong! I live out of town, and whenever I'm in Chicago, I make sure I swing by and get various frozen pies that I can bring back with me. Ty is always friendly and accommodating.

I actually found this place on Yelp when I was browsing and looking for new places to try. I used to live in Aurora so it was not a far drive. They have a private parking lot so you don’t have to worry about finding parking. Now, for the pies themselves they are not big. I had to eat at least 3 to fill up but they were delicious. I ordered the chicken and mushroom, cheeseburger, and pepper steak. They were well made and require 30-45 mins to cook. Prices have gone up, now it’s in the range of like $7-9 something. Employees were very nice.

This has been my go to place for picking up delicious pies. Yum. There are always a variety to choose from on the menu. Call ahead for pick up or for them to prepare the for you. No disappointment with delivery on taste and flavor.

We love this place so much -- been going here for years. The menu changes daily, and we've tried just about everything at this point. I honestly can't say anything bad. The owners are so friendly, and the pies are delicious. One pie is the perfect serving size for one person. We just had their family-size turkey pie for Thanksgiving, and we may never make our own turkey and dressing again. The pie was packed with turkey meat and stuffing, and it paired perfectly with their cranberry sauce.Vegetarian options: I'm not a vegetarian, but the spicy vegetable pie is amazing.

This place is amazing. You check the website for the menu and pies available that day. Call and place the order. They take about 35 minutes to bake. Arrive in 35 minutes to pickup your piping hot fresh baked pot pies to take home.We usually get an assortment of pies and share them. 3 pies serves 2 people. But usually we get 4 because they are so good. If you like spicy, then I highly recommend the chicken peri peri or spicy mixed vegetables. You really can't go wrong with any of the pies. Every one we've had has been delicious. By the way, you can pick them up to bake yourself, but we've found it's best to have him bake them right when we are ready to eat. Perfect every time!!

I married into a South African family and this is a regular meal stop for us. As a vegetarian, the Spicy mixed veg is delicious. Steak & Ale is the current favorite meat pie amongst the meat eaters. Our kids love the sausage rolls. And whenever we can get bunny chow we do! The bread is to die for.

I saw this place was featured on a list of best places in Aurora and while in the area I decided to stop in. I tried the spicy chicken and a cherry desert mini pie. The spicy chicken was not spicy but overall not a bad pie. The cherry tasted like your run of the mill cherry pie filling in a homemade dough that was overly sweet. In the post pandemic ere dine in is no longer offered so you will have to order ahead. If you want to eat immediately 45 mins prior notice is required so that the pie can be baked. Inconvenient if you're looking for a bite while you're out but worth taking back and baking.

Stopped by to try out this highly rated restaurant. I discovered everything is carry out and one needs to preorder if you want food to be warm. I decided to buy frozen pies and some desserts to reheat at home.I purchased Spicy chicken pies a Chicken mushroom pie and a Beef Pasty. The Beef Pasty was my favorite. It tasted like my Mom's Pot Roast encased in a delicious crust. The Spicy Chicken was good I like spicy hot so I would have liked a bit more heat. The Chicken Mushroom was too bland for me.The crust on all the pies was amazing. The Deserts were small and tasted okay. I will return to try the Chicken Pot pie which was not available the day I dropped in. Solid home made comfort food!

Absolutely amazing pot pie place. The veggie pies have so much flavor. It is really a take and bake place. You can order ahead to pick the up hot. Love it

Great pies! Unfortunately, they don't open late when someone is hungry. So make sure you order early.
